In the story:

She was having issues regarding her relationship with Sharad

When Amarnath confronted her with her relationship with his son, she decided to go away for some time to give sharad some space to forget her and to get rid of all the tantrums of her family

In real:

Show is very much focused on devika-sujeet-trisha so the other love birds are a bit neglected at the moment. but no worries, their stories will live up later i am sure
