I think while Imlie doesn't know the full picture yet of what's really driving his erratic behavior, she was BANG ON about the fact that he was lying to deflect from the shame he was feeling. She thinks he was feeling ashamed for showing some sympathy for her😆......but that was like 2 months back, Imlie😆.....now he feels ashamed that he's feeling much more than sympathy for you and that you've become this need for him. I really found that whole "sharam" wala part of the convo quite interesting too.....the contrast that Imlie drew by telling him that anytime he softens towards her, shows her a little sympathy, he feels ashamed as if he's done something wrong and betrayed Malini and then to run from HIS shame, he insults HER by telling her to marry someone else. She knows he's telling a lie to run from himself.....and that she called it out so calmly even though she doesn't fully know the reason for his turmoil was just remarkable. The contrast of this with Imlie telling him that SHE doesn't have anything to feel ashamed of....she hasn't done anything wrong and she has only nibhaaoed the rishta from her side....so he can think and do whatever he wants....but he will always remain her only husband😆.

On the flip side, all this bakwaas Adi keeps doing does help strengthen Imlie's resolve to not go back to being dependent in his house again😆.....he still hasn't clarified that bojh waali line....he's letting her continue to feel she's been a burden on him.....so that fuels her motivation to study and find independence from all the people who berate her and try to dictate her life for her😆.

I loved the fierceness with which she said she can look at SM in the eye and say she has no sharam caz she hasn't done anything wrong one has to see adi crumble at that point feeling embarrassed at his lie getting caught like this and that he felt embarrassed of his emotions.. the little tear that fell from his eye and him quickly wiping it off.. she really really disarmed him in that moment and bohat zyada chota feel ho gaya tha babusahib ko I guess ek sec ke liye ke indeed the hell is he doing it is really nasty..

The sharam part was intresting caz technically the poor guy hasn't done anything to be feel ashamed of for imlie or with imlie. Sharam feel karni hi hai toh maybe do it for what you did at shehar knowingly.. but yeah he feels guilty.. lol mostly for not being able to keep his emotions in control then sharam of her.. apne aap se chidh ke uspe frustration nikalta hai.. am glad that Imlie.said jab kuch galat kia nahi toh sharam kaisi.. that she will not shy away no matter how much he pushes her away caz uske mann main koi khoot nahi hai ek dum saaf hai uska mann and all this.will not change her belief that he is indeed her pati and will remain for lifelong

@ her feeling bhoj.. well adi isn't making it any better with his zabardasti ke yeh sab gair kanooni hai humare beech kuch nahi ho sakta yada yada again ... and jitna bhi kuch thoda better karta hai he goes and paani pheros on it the very next moment and then get mad when she tells him.to leave and blocks his pleading.. bro you aren't helping your cause how is she supposed to take you seriously uss bechari ko ek min itnaaa soft hoke pleading karta hai then shuns her what is she supposed to do other than feeling yeh sab ek naya drama hai but ek naatak and kuch serious nahi hai.. no wonder she has almost stopped giving him those shayad pighal rahi hai looks too and now has put a more stoic done with you face.. caz everyday you just above and beyond in making her feel she was right I leaving kuch na kuch garbed karke

Just catching with up all the analysis! I really don’t see how BS can go to Delhi without Imilie. He is going to explode on everyone😄 I really think imlie will go but with some conditions. I am so looking forward to seeing this version of BS trying to control his emotions in Delhi when Imlie is around 😄😄

As @mutebutton suggested in the previous post in this thread ,I also second the thought that she will ask him to go back and not to think about her😆she will manage on her own and to take care of Family and Malini didi😆and that she has forgiven him😭

On a completely different note- my nephew loves the song to which tripathis dance to in their PD outfit when inlie comes back from the hospital and I was just dancing with him by playing that episode and couldn’t help but notice the little nuances from Adi even during the dance 😄 Malini keeps on asking him to dance but he wouldn’t and he starts dancing only after Imlie asks him to 😳 Sorry for the out of topic post. But just wanted to share that😊

Today's fight reminded me about the "sindoor" wala fight that they had. Both times Aditya said a lot of things and both times Imlie deciphered and addressed each and every question of his, point to point just cutting off the base of his outward and inward arguments. Today was the same.

His rant was almost a mixture of an inward and outward conversation, he was telling Imlie but was also justifying it to himself. His rant can be divided into three parts, first was his solution to his jealousy which also included his naraazgi with Imlie over Prakash. So he started with his solution but still he could not let go about the jealously. So while giving her reasons of why Prakash is perfect, he also told her that as Prakash likes her, cares about her , they know each other well, so just get married to him. At this point, there was a change in his expression and tone which clearly indicated that this time he was not saying as a solution but it was his jealously that was talking. To this Imlie's answer was that she can look into Sita maiyaa eyes and declare that she has never done anything wrong and for her there will always be one husband.

His second point was about his feelings. Finally, a change of words here from Aditya because till date he has always said that he can never feel anything for Imlie, he can never give her that place in his life and that place, those feelings will always belong to Malini. But today, it was not "never", there was an small acknowledgement that he has started having feelings for Imlie which he should not have and also that he is in denial and will always be in denial. This "denial" is his current anchor in the sea of emotions that he is finding himself in. Imlie took his feelings as sympathy and addressed the core issue of his anger which is fear, that he is scared that he is being disloyal to Malini and is betraying her by being nice and spending time with her and her family instead of Malini's.

Third and at this point, it almost seemed like Aditya was talking more to himself rather than Imlie that their relationship is illegal and that they should never forget about this fact. Hence everything connected to it is baseless including the relationship and mannat. Imlie answer to this was that if he had thought that it was baseless then he would not have gone above and beyond to protect the diya, even to the point of hurting himself, thus calling him out on his lies.

This fight was the classic display of the beauty of their relationship. They do not let anything fester. Aditya was jealous and that gave rise to a whole different kind of realization for him. He was scared and the major cause of his fear was that his values were being questioned here. Aditya will always take a stand if his values are being compromised and here this actions and thoughts themselves were doing it. He cannot blame himself so he blamed the relationship but Imlie's words took the sails out of his winds and left him like a deflated balloon because she made him realize that not only was he lying to her, he was lying to himself too. This understanding between a couple and this ability to understand the meaning behind his words and call out on BS, is what makes a bond stronger.

Lastly, the contrast, if you remember that he had done the same with Malini during the car issue, but unfortunately Malini could not decipher nor understand the meaning behind his words and that issue between them is still festering.

Oh yes! Noticed it during the episode itself. Everything that he thought was alien to his nature, he has done only on Imlie’s beckoning. She has exposed him to himself in a lot of ways and he is yet to see it completely for what it is. And he believes in her potential more than she herself does. These two are a whole other world within themselves in that sense.

ah ha Fary, that is my plan to relax by rewatching some of the older episodes..

he has become so enamoured by Imlie during his stay at PD, discovering sides of her that he never knew existed, seeing her in a different avatar. 🤣

That is when she invites random people for dinner and he yells at her and goes paagal karke hi chodongi humein 😆 it is used in lot of scenes as his FB too like the GUNSHOT

Beautifully explained, Pam👏. You've broken down each phase of the argument very well.....yes, it was a mix of aspects from Adi's side....his knee-jerk reaction to the jealousy, trying to "solution" by packing Imlie off to Prakash, then trying to justify it to himself as well that he can never give Imlie anything, so it's better she be with someone who can.....and then yes, adding in his standard reminder more to HIMSELF than to her that they need to agree this relationship is illegal, it has no standing.

Yes, she humbled him the day of the SR argument as well but the big notable difference from then to now is that even back then, he ran away, he literally left the hut again stating he's ok with dying😆....but he can't stay there with her....but this time IMLIE walked away😆.

It's not the first time that Imlie has countered his arguments.....but he's usually found ways to walk away from the conversation or compartmentalize it.....this was the first time he couldn't do it to that extent and yes, as you put it correctly, she took the wind out of his sails big time.

@bold: WORD. That is it in a nutshell....Imlie named it his sharam but the sharam was coming from fear which as you said, was a defense mechanism to defend his own values.....and Imlie cut to the heart of it.....he looked dazed after hearing her put it in such stark terms. I don't think anyone has handled him quite like that before and he didn't know what to say in response to someone cutting to the core of his fear and the deflections he uses like this.

These big arguments they have are actually a form of communication that Adi-Malini could never develop because again, to Adi, where there is "bharosa", supposedly you never disagree and never argue😆.....this fundamental misunderstanding of emotions and relationships is the reason Adi is in this current mess.

These arguments build on the understanding between Adi-Imlie cuz no matter what the catalyst, what the reason for the argument, the disagreement, it ends up helping either one or both of them understand each other's mindset and what's going on in it.

In some ways, I wish this argument hadn't become public fodder.....lol cuz then it gave Adi the convenient excuse to do a big public declaration again about how she's his wife and he will always be with her.....it sort of then skipped over the fallout of this argument....and there was again a sense of whiplash that two minutes before he had said yet again this relationship is "illegal", now he's saying she's his wife, he's with her willingly, she's his need etc. etc......so it just rendered all his big words moot yet again😆
