Adi faces his alter ego - Page 12

Happy to announce that on a rewatch and Skipping the Delhi parts i got a better sense and Could connect better The choppy killed it more than the Content i guess .. the sindoor part looked better too With him casually stopping her to the impulsive holding her hand to gettign awkward instantly... without eh breaks in between..

I still enjoy the beginnign part so much more where they both are so Open to each other talking about their Various thoughts ranging from him being sad over Her denying his wish of coming along trying to distract himself by random scribbling n her clipboard and her Not facing him during this whole thing keepign her back talking about not knowing where life is taking her

and then The Alter ego scene too Worked a lot better On it's own without the distarctions.. the flow of emotions i understood better ... and could enjy the dance better too.. uska sweetness kind of nikhar ke aaya now that i was prepared mentally and skipped the jarringness

so my opinion is still totally alligned by yours AY.. but this time i could reason better and comprehend better ...

I was so happy after watching the epi and ran to forum to read all of you guys reviews, but it seemed that this sindoor scene n adi's realization had put you guys off somehow, lol it broke my heart that two of my fav reviewers (you n AY) didn't enjoy the epi as much as i did😆 but m glad rewatch helped you guys to understand it better!

I absolutely loved the episode, i think sindoor scene was not that much romantic but was an impulsive act of adi where he couldn't control his feelings n he wanted her to know that he wants to remember her through this sindoor, and then they got awkward but i loved it how quickly they handled themselves n didn't give it much thought, imlie wanted him to stay and maybe imlie's wish distracted adi to think abt what he was actually doing😆 and he was all in fulfilling his jhalli's wish!

m damn sure that adi's gonna flip, there is no way that he'll accept this reality so easily, even if he accept thora sa bhi that he likes imlie i think he'll give up on her as he has already given the right to decide to imlie as its her life, so maybe he'll be heart broken but he'll not give into his feelings because of malini (guilt) n imlie too

I just finished rewatching the alter ego scene.....few other things that stood out to me:

1) Adi's alter ego warning him that now that he's realized he likes Imlie, he needs to go tell Malini or it will be a bigger dhoka for her.

Me thinks Adi will try to tell Malini and it will be a repeat of her anxiety attack situation so he will back off and maybe again say he was joking with her😆 but the bigger question is will she beleive it this time.ans take it as a joke or keep sulking and getting more suspicious like she is now when she doesn't even know where he is..

His alter ego dismantling all his bullshit about coming to PD to "khatam karo" everything when Imlie had already ended everything with him in the bus scene😆

3) The "Sach toh yeh hai ki tum Imlie ke bina jeena bhool gaye ho" line.....that was a good one

4) The "Jis ladki ko tum apni zindagi mein koi jagah nahin dena chahte the, usne tumhare dil mein jagah banaa li hain" line. Rofl at adi ka nahi nahi mahi at this part.. the big conclusion after itna nada admission of his alterego was still yeh toh exist hi nahi karta so why listen to him.. chalo that provided me some relief ke.abbi shayad time lage depends on next 24 ghante 😆

That's kind of you Maryam i still cannot say I loved it like you all did but I guess I can wait and see what comes tomorrow or day after I still stick to my belief that it required better edit and better time placement for the tehraav and poignancy to play out which went out the window in back and forth and was building beautifully in the scene before .. the sindoor part will keep me on the fence I am still undecided and will probably remain that caz that is really not my kind of thing but as I said I can appreciate how quickly they diffused it this time .. and moved on to next subject 😆

Abhi bhar bhar ke denial hoga.

I think kal shayad is denial ke chakkar main woh kisi ko batayein bina nikal bhi sakta hai Delhi. Then he will come back and finish the rituals with Imlie. Imlie will think he didn’t wanted to but She kind of asked him to do the pooja. Is denial ke chakkar main he will not even try to convince or force her to come with him. She feels dejected again. 😭😭

I watched adi's dance multiple times & use dekhkar mere man mein sirf ekhi baat ayi 'are yeh toh bilkul jhalli ka jhalla hai' 😆

no wonder he calls her jhalli because he himself is a jhalla whom he hides n controls through his body n brain! 😆

now imlie can sing the whole day 'jhalla mera aashiq jhalla wallah....' 😆

Today's episode was, WOAH. I need to watch it a few more times to process it and gather my thoughts, lol.

I thought I'd have to wait a long time to mix this song on Adilie. But after today, I'm not too sure.😆
