Adi faces his alter ego

Woah episode#2 of the week😆.....here I was hoping for a few good Adi-Imlie scenes and suddenly we speed up to Adi on the brink of full realization? 😆

I will need to watch again to digest some of this but a LOT happened today😆.

First up, we had Imlie musing to herself about how confusing Adi is by sometimes telling her they have no rishta and then going and telling random people that she is his patni😆.....Adi on the other hand clueless as usual limping along side her wondering why she doesn't look more happy after acing her exam. They stop for a bit to rest....on a bridge no less....symbolism alert😆.....and we get one of those rare convos where Imlie opens up about her dreams with him.....mentioning how she once loved the sunrise and yearned to go to the city....now she looks at the sunset and thinks maybe she should find new dreams since she can't figure out a path forward. Adi asks her again if she's decided not to come back to Delhi😆....she shakes her head and Adi then pretends to act all nonchalant ki yeah it's ok, your choice....I won't force you 😆.....SURE SURE, Babusahib😆. Internal monologues continue where he keeps wondering why she isn't coming back even though she is so attached to his family.....socho socho kyun, Babusahib? 😛.....they also have a back and forth where each claims the other wants Chhutkaara from them😆.......Finally Imlie asks him again what he told his family about coming to PD....she reminded him also that Malini must be worried about him😆....but Adi mainly shrugged it all off.....lol .

The sindoor moment after this came so suddenly that for a moment I actually wondered if it was Imlie's dream😆.....he actually grabbed her hand and told her not to wipe the sindoor stain off his shirt cuz it will remind him of her.....woah there, that came totally out of left field😆.....I'm having to remind myself that it's always either 0 or 100 with this guy.....no middle ground😆. From literally claiming he only wants to support her education, he's jumped over to savoring her sindoor on his shirt? 😆......but they both got awkward after a moment and backed off.....lol.....then it all switched gears into talking about how he will leave soon....so Imlie asks for one last wish from him....Adi actually says, "kuch bhi" in response 😲😆.....and Imlie asks to spend a whole extra day with him in PD so that she can complete her mannat waali pooja.....which he grants her and she's overjoyed instantly 😆.

Iske baad toh it was like Imlie's feet couldn't stay on the ground....she was bouncing around in joy literally running to everyone telling them that Adi is staying an extra day for her mannat😆.....he's watching her from a distance marveling at how she just spreads joy wherever she goes....and that his family realized that almost instantly while it took him so long to notice this obvious thing about her. And then he's also musing about how Imlie did so much for him and his family and all she asked for was an extra day in response.....

Finally we get to the big ALTER-EGO scene😆.....Babusahib ki ANTARAATMA prakat hui aaj🤣....to phodo some truth bombs on him.....right at the spot where the snake bit him, no less😆.....This scene was really enjoyable to watch, not in the least to see Adi's own self smirking down at him😆....mocking him for being so oblivious to the truth....for claiming he's staying back for Imlie's happiness when he actually wants to stay back for his own happiness. His alter ego walked him step by step through all the things he's been trying to have blinders on about....the fact that the last time Imlie went away from the house, he was looking for her in every corner of the house and then shouted at Mrs. C for her....the fact that he hasn't even thought of Malini in two days😆 ( I guess his alter ego is not counting the deathbed guilt trip in this😆).....the rate at which all this was going, I was like woah are they going to dump a love confession on us today?😆.....but they stopped at PASAND.....LIKE for now😆.....Adi's alter ego has revealed to him that he's grown to like Imlie and wants to spend time with her away from all the zimmedaaris that he usually likes to tout. After this, alter ego runs off to do happy dance with Imlie😆.....I was still reeling from processing all this information just like Adi himself in that scene toh I was barely able to register Adi-Imlie ka happy dream wala dance also.....but LOL@ the thumkas😆.....by the end, Adi (real wala) finally said something that sounded like regular Adi....ki yeh sab BHRAM hai and Moon is his choice and he is hers😆.....so I dunno how long this "realization" will sustain....let's see. 😆

On the other side, Editor saab did indeed end up covering for Adi as many predicted yesterday😆.....and woh Jainendra ke through pata chal gaya that Adi is in PD😆.....Malini has been temporarily diverted but her mind is still running through her mom's warnings. Tripathis are planning a random party to cheer her up and they still thought of Imlie even while planning something for Malini😆

Oh and that Prakash seems very pissed about Adi staying back....so it's possible he will also create some drama in this extra day that Adi is staying back for😆

I honestly now can't say what the remaining week will bring.....will Adi introspect more or will he fully retreat into delusion again? What he faced today was that he is growing to like Imlie....he still kept repeating that only Malini is his wife😆....so I'm not sure how he will give Imlie his name in the pooja....but after today's epi, even that is a possibility.....let's see. 😆

Deva re Deva.... what an episode... this week has been blockbuster... of Adilie... what convo and BS is totally lost in Imlie. He has begun to bask in the presence of Imlie and Mithi while enjoying the air at PD.

BS limping along the road while the strong Imliya is pushing the bike... It was so refreshing to see this rather than the cliche where the hero despite being injured would be all macho.... and not display any sign of weakness at all.. my thoughts are so scattered now... Both were in sync here, working together to get back home. This is their partnership at work, perfect understanding. Wonder if Imlie has time to digest that BS called her his patni to the exam proctor.

The little break that they took was welcomed by Adi... who wanted to linger and talk to his Imlie... the way she supported and held his arm. Again the almost hug was an awkward moment that lasted a few seconds but both sambhaloed it.

When Imlie shared her love of watching sunrise from atop the water tank, she was talking of her dreams of her future, that she had seen. But now as the sun is setting, she is unable to see beyond the sunset.. like the sun setting on their marriage. She does not know where it will all end and guess it was symbolic... both looking at the sunset and thinking of the other. Again a plea to return to Dilli but BS covered it up smoothly citing his family missing her big time. 🤣 jhoota... BS... covering up his feeling here... 😆

Adi's whole demeanor here felt like he was on a date with Imlie and both had some awkward moments, hyper aware of the other, magnified by their surroundings. When she spotted her sindoor on his shirt, an attempt to wipe it away was denied by Adi, who wanted it to remind of his jhalli everyday. That would remind him of her. He held Imlies arm over his heart, did he even realize that he had opened his heart to Imlie and was looking at her intensely. It was beautiful and sweet.

Again I had to rub my eyes - are we seeing an intense and romantic aditya here? who said he does not know to romance, he does and how.... d

Imlie is strong and she recovered ably from emotion sickness and wished something from BS, who was quick to grant her anything. Ask away and it is yours.. She explained about Shiv Pooja and her mannat from Shivji for his continued safety as he was facing danger.

How quickly he agreed to extend his stay by a day more which sent Imlie into raptures, who wanted to rush to make preparations for the puja, leaving her BS behind, who reminded her that he needed help. these 2 bailbuddhis don't realize they are made for each other. Adi has never been more at peace than the last 2 days.

The convo with his alter ego was stark and brutal in its honesty. He likes Imlie, that is a start from the blame and misery that was associated with Imlie since their marriage. His words to Imlie yday on some decisions she took without consulting him like saving his life when caught by the villagers, keeping savitri vrat for him or returning to PD, were all things decided by Her. BS also gave the freedom of choice to Imlie to return with him. He came for closure but destiny has other things in mind.

The school board - Learn to fly and see the world with the wings of education. So apt for Imlie and what Adi is attempting to give her.

The dream dance was rustic in its simplicity and joy. All rejoicing as he has agreed to stay for a day more. While the T's plan yet another party..🤣 Mun getting more and more suspicious.. wallowing in her self pity. Editor saab is holding Adi's secret.

Idk where to even begin with.. heh kya tha too much too soon.. though I have bharosa ke ab the real.adi babu will.be even more strictly denying his alterego wale happy adi babu or I.hope so.cas other wise it left me in a super WTH zone ke.yeh hua kya

I am glad that by the end we got a peak of real.adi babu doing his fav thing that is denying the facts denying what a part of his conscious is telling him caz that feels more in the zone of the adi I am familiar with.. itna aasan nahi Higa iske liye it can't be 2 min noodle thing and if it is then I am sorry

And expected adi to be slightly above all that too..

Regardless I loved the beginning bit of the episode the most the naked selves of adi imlie and mostly adi where he so non chalantly says you want chutkara from me and not the other way.. like what ass😆 if you haven't saying this from the past 90 + episodes 🤣 still that is the moment that stayed with me and imlie 's confusion afterwards.. that was honest straight forward more in line with the characters am familiar with.. adored imlie sharing her dil ki baat regarding her sapna and also wondering what is wrong with him...sach main what is wrong with him.. imlie.. as you said there is no middle ground it is either 0 or 100..I did also like how he stilll used family ka bahana .. then the sindoor bit came out of nowhere and threw me off into 😳 zone I couldn't get it either ke sapna hai ke sach and then came babusahib ka kuch bhi maang lo .. and imlie jhalli just asked for a day girl that was the time to ask for haq but chalo OK fine you got your Mannat.. good for ya she got super excited just over that bewakoof

Rest adi babu ke realizations were coming like monsoon ki baarishein on me jo were going over my head and am just watching with a jaw drop.. the alter ego scene was fantastic well written and well enacted though I would've liked it a bit later In the journey but still glad that adi asked the questions we have had ke why he behaves so biploar.. my takeaway is again that the point of it was to show aditya's internal fight with himself now he will go harder into denial caz a part of him is creeping up telling him he likes imlie so zimmedari se pasand ka promotion ho gaya hai.. I would like him to hold his horses a bit and use his dimaag a bit warna it will kind of sink too fast..

The dance bit was adorable though again I was so taken aback iso couldn't enjoy it to the core but appreciate then keeping it more regular and keeping it short..

i loved the alter ego. It was well acted out.

I was angry at editors stupidity. Why would he ask questions about imlie after knowing the truth From the guy.

The happy dancing Adi is so unlike Adi for a moment I was like stunned. I loved the bgm and was so happy seeing him so happy. Otherwise he is so guarded and uptight

Introspection is cut-throat when it rears its head. Aditya was at the receiving end of it in today’s episode. His subconscious recorded everything and rejoiced at its freedom today. Will he recapture it into the gilded cage that is his mind? His deflections are not working even on him anymore.

There is no way the Aditya who refuses to let Imlie wipe the stain of sindoor from his shirt will ever be able to be Malini’s husband if Imlie is around or not. He is a complete goner.

His conscience has perfectly guessed what he is. A stone that got drenched in the rain that was Imlie. From the very first moment she knocked him down, his porous being absorbed and then as time passed, clung on to the very vestiges of each drop of the downpour. How could he not? Such was Imlie’s impact on this man

Badke Kaka and the family uses Imlie as a reference even when she’s not around and only someone who is your own can evoke such responses. Imlie is a part of the family and the family is a part of Imlie who called out Aditya for not contacting them. The Tripathis could not have made it more apparent.

Editor saab is good.

Also the way he was looking at his alter ego with an expression I don’t dare to describe because I won’t do justice for it.

And the expression with which the alter ego was looking at him while dancing ( the know it all look )

the sindoor moment might be out of place but it makes sense to how out of control Adi is being in PD. He is letting loose and speaks from the heart . So the expression following the comment where he doesn’t realise why he even said that. Both acted really well but this episode stealer was GM
