I think YHM was the only show I got emotionally invested in. Even before YHM, I watched and enjoyed a lot of shows but I was never really invested in them. I could easily move on when the story went down hill. But when YHM went downhill, it affected me so badly..I think it took some 2-3 months to recover from that😆And from then I made it a point to not get invested in any show. I mostly watch the shows for time pass only.

It's actually quite interesting to think though, these writers who actually created the characters have absolutely 0 attachment towards the characters. They can easily destroy them for the so called twists or TRPs and it is only the audience who get affected. It's just business for them.

Even the TRP aunties dont care much. They watch the show just to pass some time, they dont analyse the characters/story like the online folks do, so they dont really get attached to the show. Perhaps the reason why the most nonsensical twists bring the highest TRPs.

Also I feel a great deal of attachment towards the show comes when you are actually a part of fandom. When you watch the show only for half an hour and then carry on with your work..you are unlikely to get attached to it.

Wow hotstar wala pagal ho gaya hai🤪. They are expert in giving such weird titles for the episodes of a show. So thora slip hona is nowadays called accident😲. Waise I never knew this important detail accident=slipping. Koun sa ghanja phukta hai yeh hotstar wala

Put pilot wont work for daily soap format but for episodic but something like that should be tried for ITV shows where networks like SP, Zee or Colors give some commitment to air show from particular PH for certain stipulated time no matter what. During that period if its gets traction the contract be renewed or cancelled. However during the stipulated period they cant cancel the show or they have to pay fine to PH

Par networks ek number ke baniye hote hai they will never give such commitment
