Have a different opinion here

I guess most people liked today's episode. But guys honestly, I liked yesterday's better 😆.

Why I liked yesterday's episode more?

Yesterday we saw a progression in their relationship. I loved the semi hug yesterday. I loved how Shaurya , as soon as he realised it was not his mother, went to comfort Anokhi. And the moment Anokhi saw the dead body, she got scared and hugged him with so much authority which he didn't expect. If you observed carefully, he actually got imbalanced by her sudden action but then gained control again. Kudos to KV , for that amazing potrayal. Again, he comforted here even post the hug when they were going towards the police car by placing his hands on her shoulders. He was not bound by his duty as a professor then. He did out of his free will. Even from Anokhi's side, her actions were because she was really comfortable with Shaurya. That was progression in their relationship, for me. It was beautiful. Post that the nok-jhoks they had. Post that, the seat belt scene, when they felt their hands touching, they had a quick eyelock, they weren't awkward there. They were just too aware of their proximity. And those quick gazes actually prove that they are blurring the student teacher lines, and actually these are how real life eyelocks happen. Nobody stares at each other for hours 🤣. It is just quick eye contact which does the magic.

Similarly, there are a lot of reasons, for me liking yesterday's episode more most of which were discussed on the forum.

Today's episode:

I loved the car scene. Period. Also, I loved how Shaurya understood that she's upset about her hair and he tried to say that it wasn't his fault. 🤣 and the whole nok-jhok post that.

Now the riot scene. Firstly there was a lot of repetition. For a long time , i felt like I was watching the same shot form different angles. And then the funny mixing of music. It disappointed me a little. No, I'm not disappointed by Anokhi jhatak-ofying Shaurya's hand and trying to find Astha alone. We need to understand her point of view. She feared WHAT IF Astha is also a part of this crowd. She reacted just on the basis of that. She jhatoko-fied Shaurya's hand because she felt he would take her away and she wouldn't be able to find Astha. She didn't want to waste time and save Astha if she was stuck here. It was dumb, but Anokhi does go overboard with her love and we have seen that earlier too. I didn't understand Shaurya screaming " Muje tumhe touch karne me koi interest nahi hai" . Okay , but when did Anokhi say "Don't touch me" ? Maybe he thought that when she jhatak-oed his hand.

Overall, I would say Shaurya would protect any student of his in this situation. Not only student, infact, he would protect anyone with him in this situation. If you noticed, he even helped a man get up when he fell down. And protecting Anokhi was kind of his duty there. Even when he said " log bolenge ki I failed to save my student's life" was true. I'm not saying he would'nt have any fear of losing Anokhi personally. But alot of this can be interpreted as his moral duty. And Shaurya would have done what he did in today's episode, 20 episodes back too. Even when he let Anokhi hug him post ragging scene, honestly he would have let any girl hug him at that time. Because being a professor, it was his duty to protect her. Same thing could be interpreted in today's episode. Hence I did not see any progression. I know the precap proved that he's got feelings. But till then, the episode didn't show any progression as such. And I'm fine with it because we know they are building up for Monday's episode too. Overall, today's episode was a good one too .

I also feel he did what any adult will do .. take cate of the person younger or be protective .. it wasn’t romantic or anything

I dont know why people are finding Anokhi's reaction dumb because if I suppose that my mother could be there and there is somebody taking me away telling me that it is very dangerous, I mean even I would be like I have to find her...what if she is here?!

So haath kya meine tou laatein chala deni hai bande par..fael jaana hai meine. Also she is 19, itti samajhdaar tou nai ho sakti naa.

Ps- I too liked yesterday's episode more than today.

The only reason being- the riot shots looked repetitive but to be very honest I loved loved loved todays episode as well so no complaints! These two are adorbs

Even I wasn’t quite sure how his dialogue fit in today and your explanation makes the most sense for why he said that in that particular time. Because today, Anokhi still leaned on him during the first half when he was leading her to hide behind the cart. She was reaching for him, gripping his shoulder and arm as he protected her. The only time she took her hand away at that point was when they were already behind the cart and only because she realized she subconsciously reached for his hand on her own.

The second time her concern for Aastha overpowered her survival instinct, so I guess she took her hand away from him because he was going to make her leave. I don’t think that she has ever before questioned the way he touched her, especially given there were other, less life-or-death situations where she could have pointed fingers if she wanted to do (lifting scene, pulling her close during fairy lights, helping with seatbelt)? The only time she explicitly said don't touch me was when she was upset with him. So not sure what to make of that dialogue fully.

As for his feelings, I think the promo has built up so much hype that this will be the start of their love story but as per the storyline, it doesn’t seem to make much sense for him to have feelings for her yet. He is protective, maybe blurs the lines a bit when he interacts with her compared to other students, but I agree that his protectiveness has less to do with it being Anokhi and more to do with her being his student. It seems that everytime Anokhi misunderstands his nature, he shows a different side to her. The admissions drama happened where he was so against her and after he ended up helping her with the ragging case. She thought he wanted to put the blame on her for calling the press and then he helped her and Bubbli with Vineet. Now she is blaming him for Aastha and meanwhile he is protecting her during the protest. I guess I hope that next week we will see how the protest sequence impacted the two of them and what they are learning about each other by going through this terrifying experience together.

Yup! Both are extremely adorbs . I also dont mind getting more of these scenes 🤣

Yaa I agree with you....anokhi became a little irritating in the middle....I understand that she wants to find astha but shourya was not wrong in saying that they need to get away from there. That they should save themselves at that point. He too is scared for his mother and wants her safe but at present anokhi is his responsibility and he needs to keep her safe...

Ahh and the the riot scene I actually laughed at one point seeing the same repetition. And the background music was just not done good in today's episode.

Bold- Yeah...the lines started getting blurred from a long time though. I mean, Anokhi gives him a lot of attitude. Nobody talks to their professor like she does.🤣 Matlab even though he made a mistake by throwing the flowers on her face , ppl dont usually ignore their teacher and throw attitude 😆 that too , director of the college. (i mean u only do this with your friends/partner) And I dont know any teacher who would help their student in that fairy light situation by removing their hair from the neck and all. Or lift them up for no reason. Or hold them the way he did yesterday during dead body identification. Those were progressions in the relationship for me. Im not counting the dance, even though it had multiple eyelocks and that boundary crossing, but that was kind of forced on them.

Yeah, i agree with Shaurya's personality's different side opening up to Anokhi ehen she misunderstands him! Probably she will see his care for her and also she might cool down the Astha lecture once he apologises!😃

Honestly, i didnt compare both the episodes!

Yesterday one was emotional! And it was kind of situation k even they dont accept each other personality, but were there for each other.

Today, yes they showed riot scene long but had beautiful instances. Ab achanak s riot ko extreme nhi dikha skte and they want monday content. Shaurya saving a man, carefully dragging anokhi, her resistance for astha, her hand jhatko was sensibily countered by shaurya phir last scene.

Both episodes were different for me with own impact!

Riot.scene was fabulous..song mixing n all was also bearable. But anokhis dumbness was glaring . And shaurya was 100 % right in his position. IF anokhi saw aastha in the crowd there by chance , then her stupidity was justified. But here she was bring pushed around , mobbed , could be raped or killed, by the rioteers and all she could think of was aastha mam. Heights !
