Yea I agree it’s not a punishment. Its something that can happen to anybody. These dramas need to stop showing it as one.

Can you tell me which episode of the show they showed that? I want to understand the context. Not that any context can justify it. I am simply appalled! 😕

If I remember it correctly the last episode. She runs always gets raped n does.

Anyone remembers the ending of Zahid Ahmed and Sana Javed starrer "Zara Yaad Kar"... O boy... that was so messed up! Zahid's character was the bechara hero throughout and ending mein he does worse than a villian. Reverse of the usual Redemption track. 😂

I've just watched the last ep to make sure it really happened. 😆 He got her married to an old jahil man as a part of halala.. then that man refused to divorce her. I think she committed a suicide after that.

From all the Pakistani dramas I have seen the best ending to the villains given is from "Mere Qatil Mere Dildar" , she not only got justice for herself but as well her sister-in-law and "Udari".

When he got her married to the old man, he knew clearly that the old man wont divorce her, nor did he have any intention of taking her back. So much so for a person you claimed to love all your life, dearly. 🙄🤔 Almost equivalent to selling her off, not for money but for revenge.

I don't remember if she committed auicide though. I rmbr the scene where her old husband takes her to his village.

Thank you for joining the discussion. 😊 I wated to watch MQMD , but after reading its story and knowing that the leads didn't live happily ever after.. I ignored it. 😳 So it was a revenge story, where the villain getting the much deserved punishment.🤓 It is great.👏 Udari too I read a lot about it. I tried to watch it , but I have a weak stomache.😳 I think the villain was sent to jail.. na?😕

I didn't watch it.. but my friends here told me that she was dead I think. 😕 Well. In Islam a woman can seek khula (divorce) from her husband. She isn't forced to live with an old man for the sake of it. So I wonder why did the matters became so dramatic. 😕 She was a strong girl who was very ampitious , I wonder why she couldn't get herself out of that situation.😕
