I hate that in almost all shows, in the last episode bad guy realizes his mistake.. If he is the hero or a good looking guy or main character that is. If he is ugly, side character, more often than not they get killed or jailed without any chance for regret or remorse.

Thank you for sharing your views.😊 I agree , handsome actors or popular ones are prefered .. it usually happens. I was afraid this will happen in Ab Dekh Khuda Kia Karta Hai too. Coz Danish Taimoor is more handsome and poular than Humayoun Ashraf. But thankfully they made him commit a suicide. 😆 I mean after all what he did , and after a long redemption track of Danish.. he ended his life , coz he couldn't live with the consequences of his bad deeds.😊

Out and out pagalpan is the funniest outcome. Nobody goes mad like that... Even if they are guilty and are remorseful, they suffer slowly.. Like depression or something. That's more realistic. I feel this is the most difficult of all punishments, to not get forgiven by yoir loved ones and by yourself.

I agree. This negative going mental track doesn't work for me too.😃

And more often than not, negative characters in parents generation usually get away unpunished. Like they will apologize in last 15mins and everyone will forgive them no matter what their crimes were. 🙄😁

This is too irritating to be accepted.. specially when the leads have to live with such parents in a joint family system .. It is like a lifetime torture.

Also, there is no punishment for collateral damages or actions which caused unintended hurt to others. Especially when done by leads. And even when they regret their actions, they regret what they caused to the lover/spouses and everybody who got hurt in the process can go to hell. 😂

Not to forget, they will show the side characters will make some small mistakes which makes them super worthy of a harsh punishment whereas the main lead can kill a village but yet redeem themselves by the end by mere apologies and regretting. For eg. Sikander's second wife in Kankar, Noor's character's in Gustakh Ishq, Taiyaba/Saira in Bashar Momin, etc

I agree. All is well since the leads are well. They can also turn the positive side characters negative to justify the negative leads' bad actions.

Daam, Kankar and Yeh Dil Mera are some of my all time favorite endings. I like the ones where forgiveness doesn't always equate to taking people back.

I too feel it is more realistic. 😊 I myself keep a distance from ppl who hurt me , after forgiving them. I won't give them a chance to hurt me again.😉

I remember in NEB the man who taught Azfu black magic suffered a lot while dying .. he told him that he'll suffer a lot while dying too.. for this they had to show it.😃 btw. I think both NEB and MAQM are written by the same writer : Imran Nazeer.😕

In Pak dramas they just focus on one punishment for villains that is death. Koi inhy batao there can be much more painful than death.

There are quite few other ways too.. but mostly death is the end of negative characters either by accident, murder , suicide or naturally .😊 I think this is to make sure that those villains won't harm our main leads again..they can live now safe and happily ever after.😃 Exactly like in fairy tales.😉

I feel for sake of audience the punishment should happen on earth itself, but the person who suffered should get peace of mind. I don't mind if person forgives their mujrim as it is better for their own peace of mind but they should not just forget everything and become all happy happy.

Yarriyaan mein it was most annoying to see zubi gets all goodie goodie with pati parmeshwar🤢.

I feel jail is something much less availed by makers,it gives such good justice in end, instead of killing person off....

I though felt heartbroken seeing the ending of Khani , I had to agree it was justified. 😊

I too feel that if makers show negative characters being punished in detail it will send the right message to society. I like it when they show the criminal suffering because of what he did.. not in the end , but during the whole drama. In Sang E Mar Mar .. Noman Ijaz, the strong person who was an evil , suffered in many ways, he lost 2 of his sons, he lost power, this was a very realistic way to deal with such negative characters.😊 Coz a mujrim can escape jail if there were no valid evidents about his crimes.. but he can't escape the guilt, time, and karma.

I agree in most cases this is what happens in Pakistani dramas. Negative characters turning saints is more annoying than them being dead.😔 coz after torturing the leads for the whole show , when they turn good I feel bad for those who suffered because of them. In Sabaat I hated the way they turned Sarah to a good woman. The best way for a negative or grey character to turn good is to show its redemption track in detail.. like in Dushman E Jaan and Munafiq. 😊

But what kind of a punishment is ‘rape’ man? Which drama did they show that? 😲

I think recently it was in main agar chup hoon. There have been more dramas with this sort of punishment.
