Parents rush to homesick Abhishek
The entire Bachchan family is presently in Miami as Abhishek is busy shooting for Dharma Productions' Dostana. Jaya turned 60 on April 9 but there were no celebrations.
"Bachchans are not celebrating Jayaji's birthday bash because of the demise of Teji Bachchan but they will be spending time with Abhishek and Aishwarya in Miami as they are going to be with Abhishek for a few days. He was feeling homesick but they are not going stay till 20th. Ash will be staying behind and will spend quality time with Abhi," says a source.
Asked about the plans for Abhi-Ash's wedding anniversary on 20th, the source adds, "There are no specific plans as such. Abhishek was busy shooting Dilli 6 and now Dostana. There might be a small party with the Dostana team but I really can't comment as to whether the anniversary will be a bash as they have not celebrated Jaya Bachchan's b'day."
Well, the Bachchan reunion will take place again during the Unforgettables Tour in July. Kareena Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, and Madhuri Dixit will be joining them.
