I don’t know if YouTube views are a good way to determine popularity. I’ve seen on Twitter Sawai seems to be the least popular, while on Instagram Sawai, Ashish, Sayli have the least followers in that order.

I for one am an avid watcher of Indian idol but don’t watch the videos on YouTube. I’ve watched maybe 2 videos of Nachiket - rang de Basanti and main mayke chali jaongi

Popularity on social media is based on the youth who watch the show...and they get easily influenced by the judges' views while the true singers will have higher views on YouTube since its accessible to both young and old.

Pawandeep's many performances are not YouTube, his mega audition, Kaise Hua, Duet with Sawai, Kisi Nazar Ko Tera, Tum Ho to etc. Otherwise his count would have been 10+ too.
