This is something that has been a highlight throughput but more So in the 2 back to back episodes we got in terms of the 2 Female Leads of the Show Imlie and Malini..

Now we know these 2 are very different women brought and raised up in totally different situations and that does play a part in how they see Life in general but what stood out to me more is How much more this is being highlighted Lately..

With Malini being shown as super dependent on people around her situations around her being too gulliable having no clear thought process of hers and kinda being shown as a pendulam on one end we have Imlie on the other who is a force to reckon with esp when it comes to her self respect and to things she is fiercely protective about.. how she behaves when she is challenged and how Malini reacts in same situations

it was Remarkable how Even while dying malini was like someone needs to come and help me while imlie is a firm believer in apni madaad aap and was like woman are you serious.. caz Imlie on the other hand is the girl who is so independent ke iske random songs also Consists of self praise and self love where she talks about her mental and emotional strength in terms of her being Powerful ... malini by nature is a defeatist like her dad while Imlie got the fighting spirit from her mother.. It just stoodout way too glaringly in yesterday's episode and today with Malini being utterly bored and lazy almost lethargic towards her life and daily activities always looking for ways to not do stuff not ask questions not do any work koi na koi toh kar hi dega ho jaayega while imlie ko na sirf apna balke dusron ka bhi kaam karna hai that is her View f life ke bhaithe bhaithe nahi chalti dunia haath paer hilaoge toh hi you will achieve something unlike malini who is like sirf bhaithne se hi milega sab.. this clearly is a result of what they saw all their lives .. imlie ko kuch bhi aasani se nahi mila jabke malini ko kisi bhi cheez ke liye itna bhi struggle nahi karna pada

now comes the twist in their Lives and common link ADI in which case things have taken a bit of a surprise turn on surface it might look exactly the same scenario as above ke imlie bechari ko toh itna struggle karna padh raha hai to get basic acknowledgement while malini again got him like Ped se tapka amrood pachak karke 😆 But In reality this is the first time malini is having to actually struggle to actually have adi despite everything being picture perfect Yet they are soooo far and despite not trying to get a single haq as patni this time taqdeer is throwing adi more towards imlie she wants acknowledgement just as a human while she is getting more hahah .. Imlie ko phir bhi aadat hai to fight her own battles so she will Float through with some hiccups and Can saho zamane ki hawa..asal baat toh dekhne ki hai nazuk si malini ka kya howat esp with her Outlook on life ke bas let it be..

also apologies in advance if this is all over the place just random thought that struck me while making gifs and this Thing highlighted in back 2 back scenes

Omg water ji that last bit almost choked me🤣

Yup it was a genuine mistake jaan ke nahi choda peeche but it comes back to priorities and basic jaaagah in his life and his emotional connect hahah he was so consumed in losing inkie that he forgot why he was even there in first place and aisa tabhi hota hai jab you are so.emotionally attached to someone or something 😆

Very nice analysis!! 👏 (Can we also call you Fary? 😊)

I am just surprise that Malini is a professor. Usually professors have mettle. But, yeh toh itni nazuk hain! Seriously? 😲

Imlie's strength and resilience is result of her upbringing. Growing up in a very adverse environment and without much support, she became her own strongest supporter and very independent. On top of that, having someone like Satyakam around as a guiding figure definitely helped.

Very nicely put and awesome analysis 😊

The thing is to a unknown person one sister might seem to have all the luck in life whereas the other does not have anything. But though Malini has everything that one can see, emotionally she was left bereft. She had her parents, also had their love but not the loving environment that is required for a strong foundation. She has all the material comforts but not a very comfortable environment. She had a big house but the never the peace.. So even though the foundation might seem strong, its not enough to result into a strong, independent personality. It might not seems on the outside but the cracks are always there.

On the other hand, Imlie did not have anything materialistic, not even a father but she had all the love which is required to build the confidence that you can achieve anything. She has seen her mother's struggles but also witnessed her determination to bring up a strong daughter. She has seen Satyakam's loyalty and also his solo fight for justice without any guarantee of result. All this cannot be seen by a naked eye, but is so much required to build that thinking that you yourself can be enough to fight any struggle if you have the determination and also trust yourself so much that you never give up.

Thus, ironically, coming to Aditya too, materialistically he is with Malini, he is her husband for everyone around, he is by her side, he is the love of her life but where it actually matters, the emotional connect or the soul connect, he only shares with Imlie.

I was going to unres but then I figured I'll just quote and reply😆

Struggle and reward bhi I guess subjective hote hain in some ways. For Malini, who is a pampered princess in many ways, struggle has been defined by wanting peace between her parents, then the struggle to get Adi's time and attention even before their marriage😆. For Imlie, struggle has been existential in nature.....she has literally struggled to survive with bare minimum means, constant berating, humiliation, a literal struggle to survive and break free from the shackles of her circumstances.

Now the "reward" in question....Adi😆 (it's debatable whether he can even be called a reward....lol but chalo maan lete hain for the purpose fo this discussion).....Malini badly wanted this "reward" since a long time....she waited patiently for many years expecting to get what she felt was rightfully hers all along. Imlie never wanted this "reward"....lol her definition of reward for her struggles was something totally different.....instead she got this guy😆. She never asked for him but now she has accepted him as her fate.

Their situation now is kind of like when you try to hold sand in your fist tightly and it only ends up falling out of your hands.....the harder Malini clings to Adi, the more she is destined to lose him. While Imlie isn't even trying to get him....it's kind of like she's patiently strolling somewhere on the beach and the sand flies over to her on it's own😆.

Ok that's it for my random 2 cents of babbling....llol

I guess Malini's situation is a bit like people have two different personas - one is their professional one at work and then there is the personal one at home. We never really see her at work interacting with her students....lol....we've just been told she's a Professor and she goes around scolding Adi like her student, that's it. Other than that, she behaves in quite a childish manner many times, so it's really hard to believe she's a Professor in a college.

She'd probably be more believable as a primary school ki teacher 😆.

What I really can't get over is how freakin LAZY she is about work.....lol it's like she barely ever wants to go to work and is always looking for excuses to bunk.....I wonder why she even started working then....lol she seems quite content staying at home and just lazying around with her husband or family....lol

And that is what I am saying too lol waise tob adi imlie ke sar pe bhi 🍏 ban ke gira hai not at all what she wanted... but chalo ab jab mil gaya hai toh it is like the more she wants to remain nonchalant about it and keep it matter of fact the more as you said he is coming to her as sand ...

In adi's words mangi nahi thi but ab jab mil gaya toh nibhayeinge ..

Sure struggles are subjective and makini has her own set of them but the point remains what has she exactly done to fix those things other than running away...

I'll collectively reply to this for you & @mayuri about why she took the job maybe just to distract herself and get away from the constant kich kich all the time.. and feel having some sort of control which professorgiri gives her and then she uses that to diffuse the situations at her home but never getting to the root of ot to.solve the matters on her parents matter too.. like she if she is really a sensible grown woman toh why can't she suggest them get divorced and khush raho.. it is not even like she is a kid now who would be devastated over it and cannot understand why her parents are divorcing..honestly what reason those 2 have to live together now ab tob financial majboori bhi nahi hai DC ki phor kyon freeloader bhaitha hai har waqt bakwaas sunane ko .. the problem is she really loves escaping whole imlie is total opposite.. she can ask her mother right away too.ke shaadi kyon nahi ki with SK when that is a bit if a touchy and taboo between mother and daughter for the most part... malini lacks that connect even with her parents all the laad pyar aside they really don't have openess which imlie has thanks to their world being limited to.each other and not the burdens of showing off

And yes @mayuri you can call me fary 😋
