I think Vanraj has most probably taken back whatever he has said against Anupama and since the divorce is on the basis of mutual consent they have been asked to meet a counsellor. But I don't think that they will show the process of staying with each other for 6 months. Usually, that is not compulsory but let's see what the makers have planned.

Divorce involves a lot of paperwork and our law believes in retaining a family structure. Hence every divorce proceeding involves a lawyer, even in out of court settlements.

If both parties are consenting, the counsellor needs to fill in paperwork with the situation and reasons for divorce. The whole 6 month time scenario is misused a lot in Indian TV show plot points.

It comes only when,

reason for divorce are mutual differences,

there is no clear reason given where one person is evidently wrong,

and one person of the two refuses to agree to the divorce.

Like if the reason is domestic violence or even verbal abuse, the counsellor will not ask the victim to go back and give this marriage a chance for 6 months. The divorce will be easily admitted and the victim will be given an option to file a criminal case as well, which is optional.
