She was throughout
- Pouting into a sad and innocent 'I don't have a frikking clue as to what's being said' face.
- Itching her arms and hands.
- Zoning out.
- Pressing her hands and palms. Iske haddiyon ya tendons mein dard tha kya?
Anyway, the skill that she has to pretend and act as if she's said and done nothing of that was being told reminds me toddlers who upon being caught perfectly well act as if they have done no bad. Baap re, bhulne mein toh isne Hina ko bhi dhobi pachaad diya hain. 😆
That conversation that Rubinav had towards the end of the episode though, I low key felt bad for her. I may be in the minority view here but Abhinav comes across as more toxic partner than her. She seems to be wanting to save the marriage (if their issues and said divorce story is even real) but Abhinav always seems to be on another trip altogether.
More often than not, he's acting and behaving like a critic than a support system and emotional anchors a spouse should be. His way of correcting her (even if his logic is right) is quite condescending as if she has no agency as a person. Main terko bata raha hoon, tu sun le, meri sun, main bol raha hoon, samjh le etc are hardly the good way to explain. Especially if you're constantly mentioning a person you're wife clearly doesn't like, that too a woman you have made it evident to have a liking for.
Weird match these two are because both are such highly condescending beings themselves, albeit I find Abhinav to be more condescending and classist than Rubina. I personally doubt they're gonna last outside the house for long. 🤔
