Whatever reason is for Kabir's obsession, he will cross limit for Riddhima now I think which I always wanted for Vansh. But because of family loves I don't think I will get to see it in future. Because he has so many family members to protect including Riddhima but Kabir has none. So it will be like dar movie I think.

technically vansh did not really protected ridhima (other than 3 occasions, jhumar/phansi/suitecase). its other way round. Ridhim is Vansh's protector while vansh is ridhima's healer.

Kabir s feelings towards ridz was never made clear.

There were times where I felt he did like(not love) her

1.Him breaking down after riansh marriage.

2.Him not accepting the fact that ridz is falling for vansh when anupriya told him.

3.Post cliff track,he cud have killed her or did something to kick her out instead of marrying her.

4.He did look a little hurt when ridz told him that she loves vansh in kc track.

5.He told mishra once that he was indeed heartbroken when ridz left him.

Sometimes I felt he did not like her

1.Him sending her to vansh nd compelling her to marry him.

2.He hurted her many times.

3.The bomb to kill her.

He watched riansh moments happily was because he was sure that those 2 were separating but now realising they can NEVER get separated,his obsessive streak is seen.

As vishal once Said in his iv ,property is kabir s priority.Now that he failed repeatedly to get that,he is making his next move but this time he has realised that he has no one while vansh has riddhima nd family.

His past feelings nd his repeated failures are the reason for this state.

MY ASSUMPTION-

He was with her for 2 years,so there are high chances that he did like her without realising it himself.He cud have planned to arrest vansh with ridz help nd then marry her as he promised but everything went wrong when she fell for vansh.If we see from kabir s pov,his pawn did betray him falling for vansh.So the attempts to hurt nd kill her were for her betrayal nd to hurt vansh indirectly.

Later seeing ridz s love for vansh,he cud have finally realised what he missed .In his quest for revenge,he lost the one person who truly cared for him once...
