I recently finished Murder on the Orient Express.

Mysteries by Agatha Christie have always been my guilty pleasure and this story in particular has turned out to be one of my absolute favourites.

I liked that the intrigue and suspense didn’t have unnecessary plot twists yet held my attention till the very end. And of course Hercule Poirot is such a delight to read about and I love how his pompous and uppity attitude sets him apart from generic detective characters.

Death Comes as the End, for sure. It was set in ancient Egypt and felt way more sinister than Christie's other books.
