What do you usually like to do over weekends? ❤️

Do you chill completely, brush up on some skills, socialize, read, watch movies, what? What's your favorite thing to do?

For me, I love to read, watch movies, go out with my friends, spend time with my family, and completely distance myself from anything productive! I don't even look at work!

I envy you❤️

For me, I have to slog on weekdays so weekends are like a nice breather. It's when I actually get to unwind completely.

It depends from one weekend to another. Sometimes all I do is lie in bed hooked to my phone screen. Then on the evening before the new week starts, I will regret wasting the weekend doing nothing 😆

On other weekends I try to be productive in different ways.

-In my home it is usually my mom who does the cooking. So sometimes on weekends I will try different recipes and cuisines and cook up a feast for the family.

-I try to watch one film/TV show with my husband during the weekend as during weekdays we are either too tired after work or watching different stuff on our phones.

-I catch up on sleep as some weeks at work are rough and stressful

The older I get the more reluctant I am becoming to venture out of my house during the weekend. Most of the time I just want to relax at home and enjoy home cooked meals. I have saved meeting up with friends, dine outs and shopping for weekdays after work.

For me, it's the opposite. On weekdays, I rarely manage to go out. So on weekends try to catch up with my friends and eat out etc. When I was in my 20's, I used to go out after work AND go out on weekends. I can't manage that anymore😆

I spend my weekends doing trekking, cycling, sleeping extra, hanging out with friends, watching movies/series, reading. Depends on the mood.

Having said that, if 5 out of your 7 days are bad/miserable, then you need to change your job asap!

Life is too short to waste time doing things we don't enjoy. (I know not everyone has the luxury to choose the job of their choice, but those who can, I would definitely recommend finding something more fulfilling, even if at a slightly lesser pay - if you can afford to).

I hate socialising and going out.. I can still meet friends on the way after coming from work but try getting me out of the house on a weekend 😆

Getting out of bed is an achievement in itself 😆
