Alia or Parineeti: who is the better actress?

Has to be Parineeti.

Alia is successful but she falls short in some scenes which need that extra something. For example, when she cried in 2 states, it looked so fake that it distracted me from the scene. And for comparison, when Parineeti cries in the airport in Hasee toh Phasee, it is so natural and so integral to the scene that it tugs your heart strings.

Pari in her average form > Alia in best form > Pari in her worst form

I could see Pari do all of Alia's roles but I don't think Alia could ever do Ishaqzaade and HTP as well as Pari did

Alia can do glamorous roles - parineti doesn't match the vibe for it

But she can act well In emotional scenes better than alia in fact

Maybe not SOTY but then again I thought Alia was terrible in SOTY. I think Pari would've been fine in all the other movies you mentioned. There is not a single scene in any of these movies that I can think of that I feel Pari couldn't have done.
