I don't think Purvi does it out of innocence. Every Purvir moment feels like a challenge. They both push the other, daring each other to back off and both are unwilling to. And she's so blatantly attracted to him. I was discussing this with a friend and she said, you just wait and watch. Purvi will force Vir to fall in love with her.

Purvi likes challenges I agree, vir is giving her the signals too. After that gehna wala episode, he is like a changed man. He realises that he hurt her big time. When she admitted in front of everyone that she will never forget the insult.

Regarding the theory that purvi will force vir to fall in love. I think her lover will come back, vir will ask her if she liked him and wanted to marry that guy, she will answer honestly, vir ki jealousy tb saamne ayegi. Hope this being shy thing never occurs in the show.. She was never shy, she massaged his waist during the painting track..

The first impression I got from the promo was that he is going to be emotion less man and they gonna take their sweet ass time to show his emotions and development and then I got to know ki ye to ekta ka show then I was like 😅 hmm.... this show going to had a good start but after that this is going to downhill but my suprise they subvert my expectation well thnx to the writers for writing his character like this and thnx to amar for execution

You are right. The gehna wala episode just changed him. And rightly so. The way he insulted purvi.. Man, my heart just shattered when she was sobbing so hard. He couldn't have been unaffected. And if at that time he thought his anger was justified, when anjali was exposed, all his righteousness was stripped from him.

It's so great to see him come out of his grief. Now he's teasing both purvi and manas and I just love this softness in him.

Haan man. Given how this is an ekta show, I thought they'd drag every track to judgement day. But man, have they paced this well! And it's awesome that he's not emotionless. I was so tired of the unfeeling, cold jerk trope. Virendra is so deliciously human. I mean the way he's characterized, any girl would fall for him. So Purvi falling in love is just so believable. Now I'm waiting for him to break her heart with his Sakshi jaap because I'm a sucker for angst too. Then we can have the jealousy track like Apurva suggested. And I can die happily.
