I have to trust that there will be a backplot revealed...otherwise Vansh had done a 360 turn in name of love and Rhiddima, the heroine who was at her best when she was telling Vansh a few home truths in the resignation episode...where on earth does this present character even remotely resemble her then?
The only one staying true to form is Kabit at this point. Neither mad in love but simply turning events to his advantage.

Giving a resignation and killing someone is different. She is a braveheart girl yet she is not someone who can just kill anyone.
That's what Kabir said - she is neither Kabir nor Vansh to kill anyone. That's not her. However, Vansh wanna see if she can ever do that
I must say situation and the misunderstandings are made them such apart and as you said yes, kabir is an amazing manipulator.
Like for a nanosecond, even I too was convinced with his valid points but then again checked both the stories
this is happening because of Vansh thinking with a heart for Ridhima
but let's hope there is back plot for this.
