lol, Bollywood actors have millions and in some cases billions of dollars. There are many nice houses in other third world countries.

Even in neighbouring Pakistan, I was watching a documentary, the rich have amazing houses.

Forget Mumbai, even in Delhi I noticed the houses aren't that great, yes in some cases they might be big, but the quality of homes in India is horrible and the price is sky rocketing

I think Indians really need to hire some foreign architects

Archana Puran Singh as a nice house😆

Probably if you just look at the buildings they are old. Anyways, even smallest of apartments in posh locality cost a fortune.

Architects ka kya achar daloge? You can’t just modify old places easily.. and there’s no space also..it’s not about architecture...and celebs don’t have just one home.. they also have several houses and farmhouses etc in far off places where there is space.

You should visit proper Bombay sometime. It doesn’t even look like India..

I think Indians are being cheated, I have seen the quality of homes in Mumbai (mostly) is really bad with mold everywhere, yet the prices are way more then here in America. I mean if they are charging that much at least build quality homes.

Indians need to come to America or go to Dubai to see what real quality of homes are. Looks like there is corruption happening in this too

The price is not for the “quality” but the space. It’s the PLACE or the piece of LAND that costs a fortune. I have lived in Dubai ans Mumbai both. Both have their plus and minus points. Mumbai has all kinds of crowds that dwell in the city. Dubai is not overcrowded like Mumbai.

Plus not all places are covered in “mold”. It’s how people who live there maintain it, plus the newer apartments and colonies are also not covered in “mold”.

Its like New York billionaires live in penthouses in Manhattan ...even they dont own mansions as big as central park...they buy that kind of homes in Hamptons.

Mumbai is unique compared to the US. It has to deal with salty sea air that destroys metal, paint and exterior structures. On top of that, they have to deal with monsoon season and heavy rains that trap moisture. Maintenance is extremely difficult. Most structures end up looking crappy from the outside because of that but they are nice on the inside.

Mumbai also has the most expensive real estate in the world and the city itself has no space for sprawling mansions. People have to live in buildings just like in Manhattan.

Most actors have mansions just outside Mumbai in places like Alibaug, Panvel, Khandala, or Panchgani. They also have homes in other parts of the world.
