Shahid for sure. I love Ranbir but he is miles behind Shahid both in terms of acting and versatility.

Ranbir can only do the bechaara misunderstood man-child kinda acting and that's it. Also, Shahid is way more manlier than Ranbir.

I think their pretty equal 😎

Shahid can go from a kaminey to a Haider to a jab we met .

Contrary to some of the opinions, I cannot imagine ranbir doing kaminey or Haider at all.

Maybe this is true. But it's also true that Shahid didn't take himself seriously as an actor until Kaminey. Leave Shahid, Bollywood and even audience didn't take acting seriously until last decade. Critical acclaim and awards were not at all a priority for mainstream actors.

Na I do think he was always good, it's just a lack of opportunities...

And yes that lack of opportunities in the beginning of his career is partly a result of the general trends in BW at the time
