AB jr is supposedly playing a rough and tough cop in this movie but looks so out of shape. One of the reasons he never became a Superstar was because of his laziness. Just being a good actor is not enough, you have to be hard working.
Then he wonders why he doesn't get any credit for the success of Dhoom series. John, Hrithik and even Aamir despite being 45+ worked hard on their body to work in Dhoom series, on the other hand you see this guy walking around with a paunch.
It's excusable for Uday Chopra as he was playing a comic relief but AB jr was playing a serious cop, but still was not professional enough to work on his body to look the part.
Uday worked out for Dhoom2 - hence all the sleeveless shots 😆
The director indirectly called out Abi on that when he was getting complaints for favoring Hrithik over Abi (rumor has it much of it by Amitabh)

People were also surprised that it is so Hrithik-centric and that apparently, Abhishek got a short shrift.
I have received a lot of flak that Abhishek has been overshadowed by Hrithik in the movie. But how can I help it? Anyway, the Dhoom formula is heavily in favour of the bad guy. On paper, Hrithik’s role is 55 per cent, but with his intense commitment, focus and hard work, he has made it a one-horse race. Hrithik’s simply unbelievable in the movie and he’s gone ahead of Abhishek. He owns the film.
