so here’s the final chapter, i hope u enjoy!

Bani needed a break from the dancing after some time as she was starting to lose her breath. She excused herself and told Veer she was going to get some water and freshen up in the room.

After a few minutes, she came back, “Veer, let’s go to the pool side?”

Veer agreed, assuming Bani had something she wanted to talk to him about. Once they reached the pool, Bani turned into her naagin form and Veer stood back.

“Bani?” Veer asked, he wasn’t shocked but he didn’t expect this to happen now.

“Did you really think I was going to fall for you? I hate you Veer. I hate you so much. I will never let you live happily, especially not with me,” Bani said and right when she was about to put a knife in his stomach they heard someone yell.

“Veer!” Both of them looked to find Bani standing there, in her human form.

“Bani?” Veer was now beyond confused.

“Veer, that’s not me. That’s someone else. I’m your Bani,” said the Bani in human form. Bani had gone up to her room and after some time, she came back downstairs not finding Veer anywhere. She knew something was wrong as every one said he had left to the pool with her.

Bani turned into her naagin roop and fought with the imposter, “I know it’s you Jay, give it up.”

The imposter started laughing sinisterly before turning into Jay in his naagin form. “Well done adi naagin, you cracked the mystery. But I’m sorry, I have to kill the two of you now. I’m sick of Veer constantly ruining my plans to kill you. If it wasn’t for him, I would’ve had your powers with me long ago.”

“You did all of this for my powers? How could you? Jay I loved you. I loved you as Hriday, I was taking this revenge for you.”

“I didn’t love you then and I don’t love you now. I only wanted your powers Bani. I couldn’t take being with someone who was stronger, more powerful, and more important. I should’ve become the most powerful. Not you.”

Bani was furious, she wasn’t going to let him get through this betrayal. But she wanted to protect Veer before anything as this was her fight, not his. “Veer, please stand back. I’ll take care of him.” Jay laughed. Veer responded, “Bani, I can handle him. I don’t want you getting hurt.”

“This is my fight, please stand back. I don’t want you getting hurt.” Veer smiled and stood back, waiting to see his gharwali fight Jay and destroy him once and for all.

The fight ensued as she took her tail to slap Jay. He fell over and Veer laughed amused. Bani then took Jay in her tail and squeezed him to the point where he couldn’t breathe before dumping him in the pool. Jay couldn’t survive as Bani was stronger than him, she had the powers of adi naagin. Once Bani killed Jay, Veer called his cousins to take care of the situation and Bani left for the room while they had that conversation. She was completely blank after killing Jay. Bani wanted to be alone. She opened the room doors and shut it behind her before taking off her earrings and jewelry. Veer entered the room quickly, wanting to make sure she was okay. Bani stood there almost lifeless. Not saying a word, not showing any emotion whatsoever. It started to scare Veer. She was never this quiet before.

Bani’s necklace got stuck in her neck and she started fighting with it to get it off but in her anger and frustration, she simply pulled it off and it broke. Bani’s heart sunk and she dropped on the floor to pick up the pieces.

“Sweetheart, it’s okay. I’ll pick it up, don’t worry,” Veer wanted her to go rest.

Bani started crying. She sobbed as she picked the pieces and like the necklace, she broke. Veer bent down and wiped her tears, “Bani, sweetheart. I’m here. Bani please don’t cry. I’m here for you. Talk to me, please.” But Bani couldn’t stop, she was in so much pain. Her heart was hurting. The one she believed to be her soulmate betrayed her, the one who she believed to be her enemy was instead her savior. Every single thing turned out to be a lie. Salty water flowed out of Bani’s eyes as she gripped onto Veer’s shirt while he hugged her and tried soothing her. He realized she had to let it out so he didn’t stop her but encouraged her to let it out. He told her that he was there for her and he would listen if she wanted to talk or be there if she wanted to keep crying. He was with her. They sat on the floor, Bani still crying her heart out. Veer’s heart slowly breaking as the tears flowed. He couldn’t see Bani in this situation but he didn’t want to stop her from letting it all out either.

“I’m here Bani, talk to me. Tell me what you're feeling. Are you upset because you love Jay?”

Bani said, muffled in his shirt, “No, I don’t love Jay. I never did. I loved Hriday but not Jay. I’m upset because of the way I treated you. I’m upset because I thought he was right and you were wrong. I’m upset because I told you that you were wrong and that I hated you. I’m sorry, Veer. I’m so sorry. I know you don’t love me now that you know I’m a naagin but please, please forgive me.”

“Sweetheart, look at me,” Veer retreated for a minute and got Bani to look at him. “I remember everything. I know what happened in satyug and I figured you were a naageshwari. I found out when I was in the cage. I don’t care that you're a naagin, I still love you. And if you're crying over how you treated me then don’t. You were right to be mad at me because of what you knew from satyug. You trusted the person you thought was your soulmate and that’s okay. I understand that.”

“How do you not hate me? How do you still love me after all of this?” Bani asked, tears still flowing.

Veer wiped them away this time, “Because I can’t hate you. Bani I loved you in satyug and I love you now. I love you because you are mine. These misunderstandings happen, that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop loving you. My love wouldn’t be true if that were the case. I will always love you, even if you don’t love me.”

“I never said I don’t love you.”

“Bani, you and I both know sweetheart that you don’t love me.”

“I wasn’t lying this morning. Whatever I said in my half asleep state was true. I might have been under the effect of mayavi ras but I wasn’t lying. I was being honest,” Bani said as she wiped her tears. Veer stood up and pick her up from the floor as well.

“About what sweetheart?”

“All of it Veer. I don’t hate you. I had to but I could never bring myself to actually hate you.”

“Bani, you not hating me and loving me are two very different things. Yes, you may not hate me. But you don’t love me,” Veer said facing Bani.

“I’m going to repeat what I told you earlier since clearly you’re not listening to me. You refuse to listen and I can’t figure out why. I’m not lying,” Bani said before taking a step forward and she was now staring right into his eyes. She said in a whisper, “No one makes my blood run through my veins the way you do. I want you here, mere paas. Trailing your hand around my body mindlessly, drowning me in kisses, making me yours.”

Veer had his hand on her cheek, rubbing his thumb on her lips. “Sweetheart, don’t. Don’t tempt me. You don’t know how badly I want you. But —,” he stopped midway.

“But what Veer? I told you, I’m not lying,” she whispered, breath ragged.

“You’re going to be the death of me.”

because main dobara padne chali gayi thi. kyuki main bhul gayi thi which all parts i loved.

so, i loved this update yar. the way bani didn't change.

i mean i too thought ki jab vo uthegi toh she will be like maine kuch lovey dovey nahi kaha.

but nahi she remembered everything and on top of that 'i am yours only' haye
