Meghnad was the elder son of Ravan. He was very brave

He had a good personality ,he was very handsome too. He began his journey to take under his custody rest states with the order of Ravan. Wandering here and there he reached in Patallok. The king of patal lok was Sheshnag. Sheshnag saw meghnad in his area and began to chide him and asked him the reason why had did he came here.Meghnad told him that I have come here to capture your patal lok and I am son of the great victor Ravan.

Now sheshnag becames very angry after hearing his words. Then Sheshnag challenged Meghnad to fight with him. Now both were began to fight with each other. It was very fearfull fight. Sheshnag whissing much Poison was coming out of sheshnags mouth. But meghnad was fearless cut all his attacks and defeated sheshnag. Sheshnag had a daughter he loved meghnad too much. Meghnad took her with him. Seshnag Promised to kill meghnad any how any time. Meghnad told seshnag no body can kill me. One who will not sleep for 14 years, and will be a brahmcahari for that period only he can kill me. Seshnag promised all and in next birth he was laxman who killed meghnad without sleeping for the 14 years and taking brahmcharya brat for the same time . Meghnad came in Lanka with his daughter and get married with her. Her name was Sulochna. Ravan became very pleased with his sons doings.

Neither did I, I don’t know about Sheshnaag but don’t think Vasuki has any role in either Mahabharata or Ramayan. These so called cooked up facts don’t amount to much. Just to glorify one stories can be made to berate others.

Dear ur urself think shesnag don't reside in paatal lok , he reside in vaikuntha along with lord Vishnu , if he was residing in pataal lok why will he pass his duties to Vasuki , he himself will be d king of paatal lok , which in reality Vasuki is .

Even few mytho films shown Meghand story with Nag which different name not seshnag or vasuki . Meghanath defeated and married nagakanya sulochana

Sachai Ka patha nahi kahani bahut hai 😛

Meghanath cursed earlier by sage he will be killed in Hands of Nag king so he purposely married Sulochana avoiding the fate

Meghanath got boon his death by some one who sleepless 14 years +bramachari which only possible by lakshman

So called cooked up story is not so cooked up . Vasuki getting defeated by Meghnath was shown in om namash shivay serial also which is lord shiv centric . I guess maybe DKDM also showed it coz there is raavan part there.

One of Ramayana version has this story Vasuki getting defeated by meghnath. As logically raavan don't have any reason to leave only naaglok when he wanted to rule all 3 loks & he was ruling & troubling people & demi god only on earth is has not occupied fully . This force lord Vishnu to take birth .

In mahabharat adi parva duryodhana poisoned bheem & threw him in river from where he reached to Vasuki in naaglok who gave him strength of 1000 elephants .

Raavan was fav devotees of lord shiv , he was well aware of all wrong doing of raavan , he had warned raavan many times , aisa nhi tha ki lord shiv can't end raavan , he can put end of raavan bad deed in 1 min but he dint coz he knew who is assigned for d end of raavan that's d reason he kept warning raavan .

Raavan designed meghnath's horoscope according his will that's d reason no one can defeat Meghnath .

Jo story aapne batayi vo Vasuki se related, Sulochana was staying with his uncle Vasuki . Meghnath ka encounter Vasuki se hua tha . As raavan sent him to capture naaglok. No where it is written Vasuki is undefeated infact even Garuda had defeated Vasuki once lord shiv came to protect Vasuki.

Sochana & Meghnath se related bahut stories ek ke acc 2 love story , dusre ke acc she got abducted , third she was given as peace treaty to meghnath , forth she was cursed by sheshaag to marry meghnath.

Peace treaty wali story ramayan version main hain.

No DKDM not showed Even the Ravan story which revolved around Lanka - kuber ,Shivji atmaling -Ganesh -Vaidhyanath

In Ramayantrack too nothing like this shown .Shivji presence in Ramayan focused next they end track quickly Ram-ravan war

You are basing your points based on a version that suits you which may or may not be true. You want to believe it, you are gladly free to do so, just don’t expect everyone to do so.

@red if that’s what you believe go ahead, doesn’t change anything. I still believe that Vasuki has no prominent role in either of the epics. And I never said a word about Vedvyas, tulsidas or valmiki neither am I claiming to know everything. So don’t misquote me as per your liking.
