Exactly!! Motherhood (or should I say parenthood?) and companionship are two different things. There are many people who don't want to get married but they want kids of their own... so, why can't they have kids by adoption, surrogacy or IVF? We have many real life examples too in this regard...

But here too it seems like they are gonna shove a romantic angle. So I am not impressed.

TBH, I rather want to applaud her because in the post Covid era, every industry has face loss. TV as a industry is already uncertain and a lot of actors suffer financially. So if a producer recycle her old cast, that too in this situation when N2 got scrapped midway and all, it's praiseworthy. At least she is taking care of them somehow.

But other than that, very few actor actually takes a chance to step out of their comfort zone. So we don't know about Mona.

As for Ritu, unfortunately as Madhura said, actors, specially female actors have a shelf life and unfortunately Ritu wasn't that popular. She got typecast way too early in her career.

Precisely. Besides, I read one IV of hers where she said she was kind of tired always portraying the good girl in Bhojpuri movies so Mohana was a welcome change for her. So let her enjoy her negative phase too. I just hope she doesn't get typecast too. Or at least try to break her mould later.
