What I fail to understand is when Veer has asked her countless amount of time the reason why she hates him. She needed to be specific. Tell him on his face why she hates him, what she got to know regarding the girl trafficking and other issues Bani has. Saying “tum galat karte ho”, “tum admi galat ho” why? Admi galat kyn hai? Tell him, shout at him, drag him. Do whatever she wants to do, just let him know so he can give her explanations. Give him a chance to tell his side of story.

Ask him “why did you and your family wrong Noor? Why do you expect me to be with you when you have committed so many crimes.” Things like these. Veer might reveal everything and that’s how a matter resolves. They aren’t the old them anymore. Their relationship has changed. Yesterday when he said., “do you want to ask me anything”? Why didn’t Bani pointed out the things which bothered her and why she gets miffed by him all the time? Bani needs to be blunt and explicit.

Nobody expects her to change over time. I have almost zero expectations that Bani would change anytime soon considering what she gone through thousands of years ago. It’s understandable. What I am looking for in her, is to be vigilant to Veer’s actions than his words. Give him a chance to narrate of the things he feels. Build basic understandings even if it’s 1% .

@Shabia1 - could be for Navratri, but seems strange...

Yes! Even I was intrigued! Why is the timer ticking? They usually show the end at such instances, this time they haven't!

Usually with these "x ghante pehle" things they have a cold open type scene from the future, and then flashback to however many ghante pehle to make sense of the story and how they got to the future scene (Ishqbaaz went through an irritatingly long phase of doing this! smiley36) but I don't understand why they did that without showing any "future" scene. At one point during the first episode I wondered if this was a way to indicate that Bani and Veer have some major plan that is revealed on Navratri, and to which these last two episodes are "flashbacks", but it doesn't make much sense in the way they're shown if you don't see the eventual "shocking" outcome first, if that makes sense. I.E, if Sunday was 9 ghante "pehle", what was it...pehle of? smiley36

Yes, this is true. She is for some reason very hesitant to actually ask him or accuse him of anything; I actually think that the last time she mentioned any of her specific issues with Veer was when she accused him of killing Jay, and to which he responded negatively (and then of course Jay came back to life proving Veer was right). I wonder if this is also a symptom of her growing feelings for him though. As you say, they aren't the old "them" anymore. The earlier Bani would not have hesitated to call Veer out for things: ladkiyon ki taskari, Noor's death, Jay's death, etc. In fact, she did accuse him of all of those things. But now...perhaps she knows deep down that those things don't hold true anymore, and saying them out loud will allow Veer to refute them, and then she'd be left with nothing to fuel her vengeance. Single-minded denial, deep denial she's in!

She has all the reasons to re-evaluate her doubts on Veer. Started from Jay being alive and now the fact that it was Veer who saved her in her childhood. Also, how he guarded Meera’s respect and saved Bani from Shakura. She literally having a list now to go back. But, like you said Bani’s biggest rivalry is within herself. She is in denial and she doesn’t want to look deeper into Veer because she knows she will be compelled to surrender to her feelings for Him. Jay is another reason why she can’t move on, not because she doesn’t want to, but because Naageshwari loved Hiriday and Jay reminds her of that along with the suppose revenge she meant to take with Veer. “Akesh” killed Hiriday and Akesh is Veer according to her. He is the same, he is her Dushman(lekin dushmano walee koi kaam nahe kiye Veer ne ) 😆

Her redemption will happen, but before that Veer might distance himself. There is more hints towards that from the time he challenged her that “you would want to touch me, be with me”

To “you have been clean, you aren’t like other girls, your heart is pure as your intentions” enough to indicate a possible turmoil Veer might go through.

Good post

Bani has always wanted to kill veer... N yeah she did agree to jai's plan although reluctantly.... But then I think subconsciously she just wants veer to be out of her life so that she could pretend to live her life as she thinks she will live... Without the nagging confusing questions about a certain cheel n why is she utterly powerless in front of him... She feels the need to prove to jai and to herself that the cheel the enemy has zero effect on her... But now that she knows veer saved their lives during childhood , she is going to clung to that reason n argue with jai that they just can't kill veer now.... N ignore her heart... Now she has a solid reason to argue with meera Di and jai about why she is feeling trust towards a cheel... N ignore her true feelings... So she will now do everything to save veer n try to tell herself that she is paying him back for what he did for her years ago...

Haha! That, 'I would never never never let the hatred inside me get over for you' was such a strong denial statement in yesterday's episode!😆 I felt bad for her in that moment! Poor girl is really trying with her heart and soul to counter the emotions! Jee jaan se efforts daal rhi hai!😆 All are going in vain it seems!😆

Saturday ko I thought maybe it's an editing error, and they either weren't supposed to have the countdown at all or there was a scene missing...and then it happened again on Sunday. Now I have no idea where they're going with it smiley36

@bold: True. She thinks she should protect Jay because she couldn't protect Hriday, toh all of those feelings are superimposed onto him. Never mind the fact that she practically friendzoned Jay the other ep, and constantly reminds him how this is her revenge (how can that be, if Hriday/Jay is the reason you're taking that revenge in the first place?! smiley36 Unless of course the real reason for her revenge is not Hriday's death at all, but her own humiliation at the hands of Akesh and his gang).

Ab Meera is constantly in her ear telling her that perhaps Veer isn't really the same as he was in the beginning, and maybe never was Aakesh in the way Bani believes him to be, but of course Bani yeh sunna nahi chahti, because then it negates her entire existence! Her sole reason for reincarnation was to destroy Aakesh, now if Aakesh is no longer even a factor, toh phir Naageshwari ne dobara janam hi kyun liya?! Of course, when she realises that kalyug main badlav toh aaya hai, lekin dushman abhi bhi hai (Jay), she'll realise that her vengeance can still be achieved, bas target is different smiley36

Yes, Veer might distance himself. It may be because he's hurt at learning she's Naageshwari/is plotting with Jay etc., or it may be some new way of his to coax a reaction from her (IMO the latter is more likely with our badmash Veer!). Since he's now listening to what Meera said, about not forcing an emotion from Bani, he may think taking a step back will make her miss him, crave his teasing and provoking and his "sweetheart" and "gharwali", and then gravitate towards him. Ho sakta hain...I wouldn't mind watching that!

Aree she reacted in a split second yesterday when Veer faked an ,'ouchh' in the first scene! Remember?😆 She was like, 'Ab kya krr liya tumne khudko!'😆 Toh, forget killing him! It would have to be in next satyug abhi!😆

What made me laugh was him pretending he was hurt (and if you watch his face before she turns around, he's smirking already knowing she'll react), and she's acting in full tashan like she doesn't even care and is only asking out of boredom: "ab tumne kya kiya?!" smiley36 Oh Bani...

Waise I hope this taddi and these moments of tashan and takraar don't ever go away between them, even when they are fully in love and together. It sets their relationship apart - the nok-jhok is a defining feature of them at this point, and I don't need them to suddenly become uber lovey-dovey and Heer-Ranjha types. Pyaar toh chahiye, par tashan ke saath!
