Actually the problem with Rudraksh and maybe even Abrar's disconnect with him is: if they had shown him being conflicted... That is they have shown this but not convincingly enough... Its been more of shaqqi pati from Rudra these days rather than conflicted soul...then maybe thoda connect bhi rehta

If they had shown more of like Rudra flipping back and forth (even his thoughts) between hoping Preesha is right and he is wrong & burning over Yuv Pree

They have tried it but execution is not up to the mark.

They've just been showing Rudra thinking/saying worse n worse stuff regarding Preesha.

Instead...how it's impacting him....tum ne kabhi mere liye waise socha hi nahi...

Then maybe I would have cared.

And now it's all so much that Rudra just assumes... even when there's no effort from Yuvraj's side as well.
