You know, I personally didn't like Jaan's defense at all because it didn't hold a lot of water. In his case, he can either be proud that his mum bought him up single handedly after the separation. He could have continued on that and be like seena thok ke bol sakta hoon didn't take no favours or advantages. But then he did a roundabout a minute later that not everyone is as fortunate to have Kumar Sanu as a father. Now, given the context, he first put a huge question mark on Sanu's role as father and then hailed him in the same sentence simultaneously. Yeh do reasons, imo, ek dusre ko cancel out karte hain. And as per how I understand it, he just ended up highlighting the father-son issues. That was very weak defense.

As much as I have seen this guy so far, he comes across as a hollow personality to me. No real merit.
