No Disha Salian just jumped off the 11th floor of her ceiling because she was thinking of the most painful way to commit suicide. She was also found with her clothes off because she thought it was hot outside and did not want to sweat after she died. Sushant thought he was too young, successful, famous, and there was no point in living. He though his suicide was so obvious to the world that neither Sushant or Disha cared to leave a suicide note. But let's dismiss it as a suicide because that is what the Mumbai police dismissed it as on the first day when they declared on the spot verdict and were in a rush to close the case. The same Mumbai police who obstructed the Bihar police when they came to investigate. Who quarantined the head of Bihar police. The same Mumbai police who told Jiah Khan's mom this is 100% murder and then quickly changed their tune? Lets believe their on the spot verdict lost of evidence and leads went into that. Mocking people does not prove anything.

Many of the cables are surprisingly succinct and contain detailed analysis of the Indian film industry that churns out almost 1000 films a year and generates billions of rupees in revenue.

The documents look at different aspects of Bollywood, including its profitability, connections to organized crime, growth opportunities, and the Bollywood-Hollywood partnerships. India's movie industry generated an estimated Rs 10,700 crore in revenue in 2008, and that is expected to increase by an average of 11.5 per cent a year to 2013, PricewaterhouseCoopers said in a study.

A leaked US diplomatic cable has said that Bollywood welcomed funding from gangsters and politicians, known in India as "black money."

While there is no direct reference of Dawood Ibrahim which allegedly financed a number of movies, the cable said that in recent decades, the Bollywood film industry has been associated with the notorious Mumbai underworld, at the nexus of gangsters, money, and politics.

According to Jehil Thakkar, Head of Media and Entertainment for (KPMG), this association stemmed from the financing needs of the industry; until 2000, by government fiat, the film industry was ineligible for bank credit, private equity, and other means of legitimate commercial financing.

"As a consequence, films were financed by ad hoc collections of investors, many of whom were from the construction and trade industries, who charged interest rates as high as 60-100 per cent.

"The industry also welcomed funds from gangsters and politicians, looking for ways to launder their ill-gotten gains, known in India as "black money", said the cable issued by the US Consulate in Mumbai, released by WikiLeaks.

After the government added the film industry to the list of legitimate industries, the corporatisation of Bollywood - and the wider entertainment industry - began," the cable said.

His release marks the end of a high-profile case that highlights the close and ongoing nexus between India’s celebrated film industry and its infamous mafia.

The link between Bollywood and Indian organized crime is as old as India itself: Mumbai’s original mafia don, Haji Mastan, produced films starring his mistress to promote her fledgling cinematic career. The film industry’s intimate relationship with the Indian underworld is considered one of the country’s worst kept secrets whose origins can be traced to a government regulation that rendered the cinema industry ineligible for legitimate forms of financing. Film producers, directors and actors were forced to find alternate revenue streams to make their movies, often from suspicious sources with strong links to criminal organizations.

While the law was amended in 2000 to allow the film industry to qualify for bank credit, the underworld’s influence within Indian cinema had already become deeply entrenched and pervasive. In many instances, filmmakers and celebrities were forced to accept underworld financing whether they wanted to or not. Eminent Indian film director Mahesh Bhatt once observed that “there's hardly anybody in the film industry who has…not been contacted by the mafia.”
