Raman frozed on his place ,reading to ishita's letter while tears started flowing from his eyes which he didn't bothered to stop. He turned towards the Doctor and asked " when did she left ."

Dr- an hour ago .

R- and you let her go ?

Dr - what ?

R- (angrily)- you are a doctor na ,you know that she had given birth few hours back , she must be weak ,then how can you let her go .

Dr- because she wanted to go .you don't worry about her health ,she is good and can take care of herself.

R- where is she ?

Dr- I don't know ?

R, doctor please ,I m not in a mood to play any game , maine poocha ishita kahaan hai , just tell me where the hell is ishita .

Dr- don't shout, I m a doctor not your employee.

R- but I had paid you .

Dr- you had paid me for my services and I did my service nicely, now I don't owe you anything. You may go Mr bhalla .

Saying so the Doctor turned to go but Raman held her hand and spoke pleading

" Dr please I plead you ,please tell me where is ishita.I wanna talk to her ,I wanna know why she did that ,aise achanak bina mile kaise ja sakti hai wo.Dr I wanna meet her,milna chahta hoon usse,dekhna chahta hoon kaisi hai wo aur ye bhi poochna chahta hoon ,how can she leave without meeting her baby and me.

Doctor turned to him and said " I m so sorry Mr bhalla, I know where ishita is but I m not going to tell you because she don't want to meet you . Wo bina mile apne bachche se gayi kyunki agar wo usse mil leti to shayad ja hi nahi paati . Mr bhalla you are a man thats why you won't be able to understand a mother's pain.lshita is a nice girl thats why she opted this way.The girl who signed the contract was a daughter ,who anyhow wanted to arrange money for her mother's operation but the girl who has left you is a mother who loves her baby a lot and don't wanted to leave him . Pata nahi aap meri baat samajh rahein hain ki nahi Mr bhalla but I will request you to give ishita some lone time ,which she needs badly at this time .

R- to aap ye kah rahin hain ki kuch din baad shayad ishita wapas aa jaaye .

Dr- main aisa kuch nahi kahoongi , bas itna kahna chahungi that ishita was alone when she needed you most ,so please leave her alone for now .

Raman wanted to ask much more to her buy opted to go as he realised that she is not going to tell anything about ishita to him . He folded the letter ,kept it in his pocket and weny out from there. He directly went to the room where shanti amma was waiting for him ,holding the baby in her arms .Raman entered the room and saw that shanti amma was all ready to leave.She has packed all the stuffs and was just waiting for him.He gave her a ,"I don't believe this" look and asked " aapko bhi pata tha ki ishita jaane wali hai ."

Shanti amma nodded ,Raman got furious listening to this and almost shouted " aur aapne mujhe bhanak bhi nahi lagne di . Aapko paise main deta hoon ya wo ."

SA- Nahi sahab paise to aap hi dete hain hamein but she was like a daughter to us . Usne kabhi bhi humein servant samjha hi nahi ,rather she use to treat us like her guardian. Sir humne use apni beti maana hai , she was all alone here and use to spend ample time with us . Mere saath khana banati thi ,kuch mujhse sikhti kuch mujhe sikhati thi , hamare saath gardening karti aur dher saari baatein bhi . Usne kabhin humein bataya nahi but it reflects from her talks that how much she loves and misses you . Humne sab kuch kiya uske liye but she was never contended, its not she was not happy . She use to get happy with small things but she was not contended, aapki kami hamesha khali use aur jab aapne ye kah diya that you will not be coming till the birth ,she was all lost . Kitne dino tak theek se khaana bhi nahi khaya but jab maine aur doctor ne samjhaya she started taking care of herself or I should say ,she started taking care of baby ,so that nothing happens to him.

Raman looked at shanti amma and spoke " amma I and ishita had signed a contract that I will pay her if she will carry my baby and she agreed for it . Everything happened as per the contract ,I didn't violated any of the rules , contract mein saaf saaf likha tha ki uski aur uski mother ki achche se dekhbhaal hogi but it was no where written that I will take care of her . It was also written that ishita will not have any right on baby and she agreed for that too. I m shocked and even I m not liking the way ishita left us but why you people are looking at me as if I m a culprit and had done wrong with her . Shanti amma maine uske saath kuch galat nahi kiya aur agar kisi tarah se wo hurt huyi bhi hai then also it was never my intention .

SA- main aapki baat samajh rahi hoon sahab ,aap log businessman ho ,har kuch faayde aur nuksaan mein dekhte ho but when it comes to life , saare rules and regulations dhare ke dhare rah jaate hain . Jis samay aaplogo ne ye contract kiya tha us time wo apni ma ke baare mein soch rahi because she never knew about motherhood . Legally Aapne koi galti nahi ki bas us becharo ladki ko aapse pyaar ho gaya .

Saying so she got up and walked out of the room ,leaving a thoughtful Raman . He felt somwthing stirring inside listening to this ,he so wanted to meet ishita and talk to her, but she was gone and he don't have any idea where she is now .

He sighed ,took their belongings and left the place . The driver drove towards the farm house , Raman took the baby from Shanti amma ,hugged him tight close to his heart and cried silently for the reason unknown to him . He was still denying the fact that he has started liking ishita and was thinking that why is he in somuch pain when he knew that she have to leave someday . When they reached the farm house ,shanti amma didn't let them enter ,until she does their aarti . When Raman entered the house he saw many parcels and bags were kept there . Raman looked at shanti amma for answer when her husband came and gave another letter to him . Raman opened the letter and found that it was again from ishita . He smiled sarcastically and said " khud to chali gayi aur letter bheje ja rahi hai , itna hi kuch batana ka sauk tha then she should had stayed back and instructed me everything . "

Saying so he started reading the letter ..

"I know you must be mad at me for leaving without informing but I needed this lone time ,hope you understand me . Main ishaan ke liye bahut kuch kharidna chahti thi but couldn't buy as its said that its bad luck if we buy something before the birth of baby.To maine sabkuch pahle se pasand kar liya tha , ab jab ishaan aa gaya hai to maine sabkuch khareed liya hai . I know its not the best for him ,you can provide him best of everything but these are from his mother. Isliye please ye sab cheeze use mein le lijiyega ,mujhe achcha lagega ."

Raman read the letter then went to check the things ,there were many baby cloths , soft toys , baby bed , baby cradle and few more things . Raman smiled seeing the thints and spoke " it seems that she has bought whole market ."

He was still looking at the things when shanti amma gave him a box . Raman opened the box and found a note ,you missed all this but I kept this for you , may be you will cherish the lost moments.There was a zipper file ,he opened the file and found her sonograpgy reports along with few CDs ,Raman assumed that it was ishaans heartbeats audio. He looked at the sonography reports and smiled noticing the growth of his baby . He then found a album,Raman opened the album and found some of ishita's pics.He then recalled ishita's words that she has left some of her pics so that ishaan can know that she is his mother . Raman closed the album and spoke " this is not fair ishita ,you went without meeting me and ishaan , so that you can forget us easily but you left somany things behind you sothat we can never forget you . Ye alag baat hai ki main bhoolna bhi nahi chahta but this is not done .if you so wanted us to remember you always atleast ,you should had tried to stay but you did otherwise without giving me a chance .

Amazing but but sad update di..

So raman want to meet ishu before going but stopped himself because of misunderstanding..

Hee bhagavaan.. Puch leta.. To pata chal jaata usko.. 🤦‍♀️☹️..

So he left a letter for ishu ..

So she wake up and saw raman was not there..

She got sad ... Shanti amma gave her latter and she read that..

So she get so sad after reading that letter and got fainted.... Poor ishu.. ☹️..

So Shanti amma called Doctor and she checked her and told her that she got fainted because of stress..

So ishu talked to doctor and told her everything and she made her understand that she have to move forward..

So time passed..both want to talk to each other but stopped because of that misunderstanding.... Yaar.. ☹️🥺.

So finally last month come and raman come to her.. But they maintain distance between them..

So baby is arriving..

Hope ab to sab thik ho jaaye..

Part 18

Raman was still looking at the letter when he heard ishaan crying . He immediately kept the letter and picked ishaan in his arms and started rocking him but he was not stopping rather going on crying . Raman started panicking and spoke " hey matarani he is not stopping , mujhe pata bhi nahi ise kya hua hai , ye bol bhi nahi sakta ,how I will calm him ."

Saying so he started rocking the baby again when shanti amma came and said " arey sahab ,aise nahi usne shaayad apne kapde geele kar liyein honge aur ab use bhookh lagi hogi ."

R- but how do you know that ,he is crying for that .

SA- we have to keep checking kids as they can't speak. He has been sleeping for long , you can check his tummy and know .

R- pet choone se kaise pata chalega .

Shanti amma smiled and said " aaj pahla din hain na sahab ,isliye aap pareshaan hain ,dheere dheere sab pata chal jaayega. Come I will show you .

Saying so she touched ishaan's tummy and said " dekhiye ,ye ekdum khaali hai iska matlab ki ise bhook lagi hai".Saying so she quickly took the baby and started feeding him . Ishaan started sucking the milk making Raman clear that what shanti amma was saying was right . He nodded his head and spoke " seems you were right."

Shanti amma smiled and continued her work and said " sahab aap jaao main ise sula kar ,aapke paas le aaungi ."

Raman nodded and went inside, he freshened up and lays on bed as he was feeling too tired . He closed his eyes to take a small nap but couldn't sleep a wink rather ishita's face was continuously flashing in his mind . He recalled how she was tossing and turning when she was going through labour pain. His eyes filled with tears recalling ishita's state and he thought " ishita you went through somuch pain to give birth then how can you leave without seeing him , ek baar, kewal ek baar koshish ki hoti ,to shaayad aaj hum khushi khushi Ishaan ka birth celebrate kar rahe hote ."

He was still lost in his thoughts when Shanti amma came inside ,she was about to put ishaan beside Raman when she stopped her and said " rukiye amma , give me a minute ,I will get ready the cradle ishita has bought .ishaan will sleep in the cradle which his mother got for him. "

Shanti amma listened it and smiled ,while Raman too smiled back and bring the cradle ,he fixed it and then signalled amma to put ishaan in it . Shanti amma smiled at him and did same ,Raman noticed her and asked " amma why are you looking at me and smiling ."

SA- bas ek baat kahna chahti hoon sahab , ho sakta hai aapko lage ki chota muh badi baat lekin agar aap aur ishita ne agar ek baar theek se baat kar li hoti to aaj aap dono ek saath hote ."

R- humm.

SA- she too loves the way you love her and I have seen her craving for you the way you are missing her .

Raman looked at her giving her a confused look while she said " itna surprise hone ki zaroorat nahi hai sahab , aapka ishita ke liye jo pyaar aur tadap hai na ,wo koi bhi mahsoos kar sakta hai ."

Saying so she went out leaving a thoughtful Raman . On the other hand ishita was laying on the bed ,closing her eyes ,trying to sleep but same as Raman , her eyes too were not sleepy ,so she was thinking about Raman and ishaan . She was thinking about Raman's reaction after reading her letter .She was trying to imagine ishaan face ,how does he looks , whose features he has taken and many other things when The doctor entered the room and asked "Hey ishita wassup, how are you feeling now ?".

I- I m good Doctor just feeling bit tired .

Dr - you have given birth today ishita , to tired to rahogi hi.

Ishita smiled and said " I m so greatful to you Dr nahi to yahaan mujhe koi itni achche se jaanta nahi hai ki meri help kare and you let me stay in your house .

Dr- no need to thank me ,we are not only doctor and patient but friends also . So not as patient but I m helping you as a friend aur jyada socho mat and take ample rest aur haan Mr Raman bhalla was very much restless when he found that you were gone .

Ishita got happy listening to this and said "really ! what did he say ?"

Dr- he was very much mad at you that you left without meeting them.

I- ye to bas mujhe pata hai ki mere liye ye kitna muskil hai but I have to do this . May be Mr bhalla is restless for now but ultimately we have to part ,I m preparing myself for that.

Dr- humm ,aur ye juice kyun nahi piya .

I- I don't feel like having anything .

Dr- ishita you are weak , you have to take care of yourself .

I- pata hai , lekin kuch achcha nahi lag raha. Doctor ,I had left a part of me ,it will take sometime for me to cope up with this .

Dr- I know that ,take your time but still you have to take care of your health.

Saying so doctor patted her shoulder and left the room while ishita lays back .

Next day ,Raman has prepared everything for his return with ishaan, he was also taking Shanti Amma with him ,so that she can take care of ishaan in journey. Though he was all ready to go but he was not willing to go . He was having a very weird feeling from inside ,as if something is breaking inside him ,as if he is leaving something behind. All the things were already got packed and was send , only Raman ,ishaan and shanti amma have to go . Raman sat on the bed and thought about ishita,though many times he thought to hire a PI to get information about ishita but then he dropped the idea ,thinking that may be ishita will not like the idea of sending a PI behind her .

He ruffled his hairs in frustation and thought a way to contact ishita. After much thinking he recalled that the Doctor has admitted that she knows about ishita's whereabouts. He thought about a plan and went to check ishaan ,he was awake and shanti amma was feeding him. Raman waited for ishaan to complete his milk , he then took ishaan from shanti amma and patted his back, till he burped . After that Raman took ishaan with him ,he clicked some pics of the baby alone and some with himself . After taking pics Raman patted ishaan till he slept then he send those pics to the Doctor with a note .

" Doc I know you know where is ishita but you don't want tell me about her whereabouts. Its ok , she has right to do whatever she wants ,I had send some pics of the baby . She went without seeing him , but I think as a mother she has all rights to see the beautiful face of her baby .So here are some pics of him and yeah please inform her that I have named him ishaan as she suggested.Hope ishita is doing well, we are leaving today for Delhi ,wanted to take ishita along but she decided otherwise . Please convey a mesaage of mine to her " ishita I want ishaan to know about his mother but not through pics but from herself, you can come and take care of him whenever you like ,I will wait for you. Good bye for now but will be looking forward for your arrival.".

He smiled at his trick thinking that if the doctor shows those pics to ishita, she won't be able to ignore them anymore and will come asap.
