That would require Ranbir to actually finish shooting a film.

Releasing movies during pandemic is more of stupidity and helplessness than courage.

You can also see it this way that producers of 83 don't trust Ranveer's bankability enough to postpone the movie. While producers of Ranbir movies trust him enough to postpone their releases umpteen times, even if it increases the budget because they have trust on Ranbir's stardom that he'll get their money back (even though it didn't happen in the past).

I doubt 83 is even releasing this year. If it happens then I suppose it's a bad product which is doomed anyway, and the makers are releasing it on pandemic so that they could easily blame it on corona if the movie Flops (which it would).
