What's the point of this post? Yes, it's everywhere, but it's the job of normal people to speak up and demand fair opportunities. If it doesn't happen, then vote for a government that will place laws to make sure ordinary folks get equal chances.

But more than nepotism is the way bollywood and these nepo kids treat outsiders. Sushant was only another of their victims

OK lets not compare a hollywood to bollywood at all in nepo kids case

Look at hollywood top stars of last 40 years - sylvester stallone, arnold, tom hanks, leonardo di caprio, brad pitt, johnny depp, jack nicholson, robert de niro, al pacino morgan freeman, jackie chan all outsiders

Ladies again nicole kidman, natalie portman, meryl streep, cate balnchette, julia roberts, kiera knightley, kate winslet all outsiders

This gen yes nepo kids arethere but again robert pattison, hoult, margot etc again not nepo kids

But look at bollywood amir khan nepo kid, salman khan nepo kid hrithik nepo kid saif ali khan nepo kid shradda kapoor, jhanvi, annaya pandey nepo kids, evenc deepika is nepo kid shes gret praksah padukone daughter not some truly middle class unknown person kid, ranveer singh nepo kid, anil kapoors nephews, ranbir singh nepo kid - look at all top stars 80% nepo kids

OK the thing about neotism in any industry is not so clever or deserving occupying big posts because they do not let other better clever people to compete or come up as them

Like in a very big IT company top 3 i know a DMs brother in law got a job although he failed in BE few semesters and passed out after repeating exams

This same company will never allow a commoner to write ts entrance exam for trainee post if you do not have first class marks in BE

That is nepotism

In another very big company again which says we are only taking brilliant people husband wife and brother in law work although they are not so qualified and good at job

That is nepotism

Do you really think amir khan would be considered best actor or hrithik be a super star or a ranver singh in an industry if it gave fair chance to all in country to become actors those who want too- not really there are better actors than them but do not get chance at all

Nepotism is two ways first blocking access to that career for those not as rich and powerful as industry kids

Second is trying to destroy careers of those that can be industry kids competition by planting blinds etc about them

Third kind of nepotism takes place where you only recruit people of your ethnicity/state in company or industry like bollywood is more punjabi oriented or khan oriented. A person from UP/bihar/MP or tamil nadu/kerala/karnataka will not get job easily in bollywood no matter what talent they have

Avengers (the biggest saga of the story at least at the box office) has only one nepokid as lead actor, that says a lot. In bollywood or in SI all would be nepotism products.

You didn't count Liza Minelli or Carrie Fisher as big stars.

Even if you think that nothing is wrong with nepotism, you can't use this "it's everywhere" logic to defend it to those who consider it wrong.

Exactly, I don't get this logic, if it's everywhere so accept it. It's wrong and is wrong everywhere.
