I think veer would return when ranjan sir would be back as well! One director is handling this track, so yeh complete krke, they would start off again where they left off with veer. Ofc in continuation, but with the original director and original cheel!😆

Veer's powers are supposed to maximize and he is also supposed to remember his past life. I feel there will be power, vulnerability, angst and a lot more love for Maaheshwari/Bani...as Veer knows a different angle of the past life story, he might help Bani learn some more truths
