Is it possible to regain trust and intimacy after a relationship has been marred by infidelity? How do you make a relationship work after this type of heartbreak? Well, it depends on who you ask.

What are some better techniques for repairing after the affair?

dont make any partner till then you wont be able to understand what is gud and what is not. 😛

For repairing.. as in getting back together.. I think it's really hard and someone has to be really forgiving and the other person better be sorry.. 😆 If you don't genuinely feel that s/he's sorry then there's no point in trying really.

It'll obviously be hard to trust that person again.. and I think one can forgive, but doesn't mean take that person back into their life.. at least I wouldn't.. no matter how sorry they are.. I won't hold it against them.. but it's hard to gain my trust in the first place and if you lose it.. you lose it.. 😕

I don't know if that helped much, but I don't think it's possible to completely repair that relationship..

I agree with you, I can forgive but the relationship can not be same as earlier. I can not fully accept the person.
