His show DSDK was never in Top 10 confirmed by Salil who tweets BARC TRP of the week. Hardly DSDK got 2+ twice or thrice in whole 1 year otherwise it was between 1.2-1.9 when Shukla was a part of it that also during time when TRP of few shows use to be between 3.5-4+. BB13 wasn't successful because of him only but because of "connection" they formed with each other and with viewers. They all were significant in their own ways though Shukla, Asim and Shehnaaz contributed the most in changing game dynamics alliancing with or against each other.

So, whatever he did in his 15 year career wasn't significantly successful beside Ballika Vadhu and BB13.

He has habit of doing damage control after disrespecting others. He is not a hollywood star to comment on other people's careers. Not all can be favored damad of colors.
