IS RIDDHIMA REALLY AT FAULT???

Hi, i'm kind of new to the 'post topic' thing, but after watching the recent episodes of DMG i found myself drawn to the computer to ask the simple question of whether or not riddhima is really (totally or mostly in the opinion of most bloggers) to blame for the sad demise of the A-R relationship?

In my humble opinion, riddhima is not to blame (well atleast not comletely), sure she's made some mistakes but let's face it the girl's probably just insecure and really scared to let herself get too deep. Yes , yes, i hear the snorts of derision and gasps of disbelief, but come on, after the whole anjali-armaan bet thing (which, yes i know is ancient history, but come on?!) is it any wonder riddhima is so reluctant to publicy (and unfortunately for us romantics out there, to physically) espress her love for armaan. Yes, armaan is totally adorable, but i think he should understand, and not interpret riddhima's cautiousness to mean that she love's him any less.

What do you think? Is riddhima scared of the depth of her own feeling or is she, well, a cold hearted tease?

(P.S. Yes the whole muskaan argument was stupid and she should have let armaan explain but.....maybe he should have told her himself?)

(P.P.S I'm not armaan bashing, i'm simply presenting an alternate view, so please forgive me if i have offended one of the legions of females who lust over dr.armaan 😉 )

Nice post!

Very interesting question you've posed here...and I just want to ask one question in return...What are your views on R faking her own rape to play a "prank" on Armaan?

p.s I'm not one of the legions of females who lusts over Dr. Armaan 😉 😆 😆

Yes I am totally convinced that she is at fault.Even if we remove the whole Armaan fiasco from her life yet her problem still remains that she hardly gives the other person any chance to explain oneself and builds opinions on indisposed propositions.......remember when she got to know the whole adopted story...........she didnt even let her father explain things to her and gave him a cold shoulder too..............thats why she goes through the turmoil.....lack of communication.....

Well hello again, and in response to your post nureat01, i thought the whole fake rape thing was absolutely VILE to the nth degree...my god when i saw the episode i remember questioning the sanity of the writers and found myself contemplating contacting them in order to find out what kind of girls they knew, that would inspire them to write such an awful (and might i say, in my opinion 😉, out of character) scene for riddhima.

BUT lest we forget armaan repaid riddhima's, shall we say, 'faux pas', by committing an almighty one himself, by sneaking into her room and playing attempted rape?! Remember TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT 😃

And flashy (thank you for the reply, actually quite chuffed 2 whole people responded to this midnight madness of a post 😉 ), yes riddhima has issues, i mean serious trust and communication issues but hey, she was never told directly of her adoption, and so was probably slightly 'miffed' at being left in the dark. And hey we all have issues, the girl's just slightly nutty (probably anoter quality armaan found attractive?) not a full blown sociopath!

P.S. A&R are cute but horribly misguided, so let us all take a moment of silence and fantasize about their...eventual reunion 😆 😆

P.P.S FRI I'm a romantic not a pervert 😉

yeah she is totally at fault. I agree Armann Anji bet thg was disheartning 4 her but wat abt after dat. Y she don't recall all those thgs which Armann did 4 her. Y she distrust Armann. It's like tum sudharana chaho bhi to mein tumhe sudhrane nahi doongi. Coz her overall reactions r so insulting n degrading d self respect for Armann dat ne man or rather ne person will raise his voice. U r talkin abt. maturity. Do u really think Riddhima's reaction r matured enough? No not at all evrytime u insult sm1 n say dat I love u. Wat's correct d humiliation or d love???????? After accepting ur love 4 sm1 she is saying u r just a friend. Wat's correct d love or frienship. It's like u do it in my way otherwise I will leave u n insult u publically. U say Armann unmatured. Tell me whether Armann has insulted her publically, slapped her or does smthg like dat. No, not even once. Coz he knows how 2 maintain dignity.

He is not a friend, a boy friend who sud b above all relationships coz he is ur wud b.

Lastly atleast I wud hv done d same thg if I wud b in place of Armann rather worst dan Armann. Sorry if I hurt u. Although I always take Armann's side not bcoz I am a Armann maniac but bcoz I genuinely feel as a person n as a human dat he is correct.

Well a big hello to you as well, Sphinx.

I don't think Armaan played "attempted rape" that night, but then that just might be my misguided bias in favor of his character 😃

I would have dismissed the fake rape incident as being a once in a while out of character thing if she was not repeatedly shown as a completely self-absorbed character riding on some kind of weird moral high horse from where she feels that she has the right to pass judgement on anyone...a judgement that is more often than not horribly off the mark.

And wow, you think she's only slightly nutty?? 😆 😆 Yeah, that explains her completely! 😃 Oh, and not to forget! She is also a very "seedhi-saadhi" girl 😆 😆

WOAH, WOAH 😕 , relax bloggers, i posed the question as a genuine discussion, not to bash riddhima ( although i am enjoying the hilarious posts) or armaan as people.
Also i did not imply that armaan was immature or vice versa that riddhima is by any means mature, i simply meant to convey the type of feeling one would have were they in riddhima's shoes.
BUT before i get another slew of posts rigourously defending armaan from my (rather humble) views, i should let it be known that i love armaan's character! He's adorable and well sketched, not to mention devilishly appealing at times.

I understand his fustration; i mean here is a girl who he truly loves not clearly identifying or expressing her feeling for him despite him declaring his love for her numerous times. I recognise that armaan's goading post-kasauli was really a means of eliciting some kind of romantic declaration from riddhima, and i also realise that riddhima's lack of response to his first love, then irritaion, then anger/rage, then goading has led both of them to this no-man's land of relationships.

BELIEVE ME I GET ARMAAN AND HIS ABSOLUTE FUSTRATION WITH RIDDHIMA....all i am saying is that riddhima is still the same flawed, and yes, only slightly nutty girl armaan fell for....so maybe the idea that armaan should understand his love's reluctance of completely letting go and falling into the abyss (i.e. his very well toned arms) is not such a nutty idea??? WHAT SAY??? 😉 😉

P.S. I'm no stylist or fashion icon but i know what i like, and i love armaan's hair short as opposed to the floppy beatles look... 😃
