@TM - I hear you.
Sadly, none of your questions will be answered.
I am not a fan, haven't watched any of his movies, found him ordinary looking, had no idea who Rhea was.
For me, it's personal. I belong to Mumbai, have seen my city torn to shreds by vultures over decades of tyrannical rule and unfathomable levels of corruption. I have worked with and seen up close the lives of the mega rich, the industrialists, the advertising and affiliated entertaining industries. I know first hand how the machinery is kept oiled for smooth functioning. It's ugly. As ugly as the fake, plastic faces of the shallow, soul-less stars you worship.
Then Sushant died. I thought finally, this is the opportunity to bring into the open everything that is wrong in this city. Silly me.
I was appalled at the blatant misuse of power by the state, even more appalled to see the various agencies slowly but surely fall in line with their "findings"
I shudder to think - if this can happen to a famous person, do I even stand a chance at justice?
Today some folk are celebrating that Rhea has been freed. If you or someone you know gets jailed for an offence which in your eyes is frivolous, will Maneshinde take up your case? Will Swara, Farhan et. al jump to your defence? Will the state move mountains to protect you?
