She was asked during her interview about and if she has faced any coaxing into false promises, to which she responded, "I haven't faced any of that fortunately but when I was doing TV shows, I saw many taking drugs but I never had the inclination to go down that path. Many kept offering us, especially the smaller and upcoming actors to come and join then. Anyway, if you hail from UP/Bihar, you are looked down upon in Mumbai. And if you are refuse to do that, you are not considered to be a part of the 'cool gang' and they don't even talk to you."

But years ago during some party, Naman Shaw was forcing Prachi Desai to drink alcohol but she refused as she did not drink. She was just 19 then. The article said that Trupti Jha who acted as a vamp in Kyunki started with forcing her to drink and Naman joined in forcing her. Don't know if Prachi drinks now or not but what was happening to her then was wrong. So peer pressure happens everywhere but I still not able to believe that TV stars do drug.

This is so bad that we heard about these kind of pathetic news about drugs and all. don't expect that from role models.

Thanks for your reply and your information. Its an old news but still if news were there then its true. But not all of them may be doing it. There are many undeserving and overrated TV actors who gets good roles in a show but many deserving and more talented ones don't get good roles easily and sometimes are pushed to second lead or worse side characters. So may this goes on like who is part of their wrong deeds gets better roles and who is not gets sidelined.
