Yes its truly a justice if someone slapped him/her in public...

one of my female friends got slapped by his BF in a crowed hotel and she fights a legal case and punished this A$$h0le....when you killed someone due to anger that time also you an a$$ for a minute only ...

If as per law the offence is liable to 20 year punishment she should get that punishment otherwise what is the use of law😔

I was talking of proportionality. It's great that you view things in terms of absolutes rather than degrees.

I will stop here bec i don't argue with anyone beyond 3 posts. By that time it's obvious that I'm not ready to see their viewpoint and they are not ready to see mine.

So you go ahead and lament the current state of the legal system based on your opinion of my professional standards simply because i don't agree with you on this current circus.

That is the maximum that one can get...

The law always punishes proportionate to the offense...

Suppose a mother steals bread for a hungry child......a man loots a bank at gunpoint.....they both are stealing/robberies....do you think that if they go in front of a judge...they will get the same punishment?

I said if that offense is liable for 20 years then 20 years and its all depend on the judge and evidence that the person will get 20 years or 1 month...

and his slapped example was a bad example

What production house? Is it a movie production house? Then give us the name. Otherwise, not interested.

I have read it. And since I'm a lawyer I've seen it in practice too. Which section do you want me to read?

for example lets assume what they caught is 70g cannabis then u must be knowing that 20g of charas / 5g ganja comes under small quantity and 500g charas and 250g ganja under commercial and 70g is in between small and commerical right? And for small quantities , punishment is 1 yr "rigorous" imprisonment and a 10k fine both. I hope u know that.. so it is still a punishable offence.

What exactly are u laughing at?
