My favourite Raman's jealousy scene was when Ishita mentions about Subbu,and how it was difficult for her to move on from him( right after the accident track when IshRa get to know that Simmi is in touch with Param).

KP was awesome in that scene! Just Subbu's name was enough for him to get jealous. And that dialogue "Pehle pyaar ke maayne har insaan ke liye alag hote hai." I still keep wondering what he might have actually meant by that. I guess by that time, Raman moved on from Shagun completely so he expected the same from Ishita. But after that conversation he felt that Ishita is still stuck in the past. Ishita kept talking and said" Maine doobara pyar kiya. Ruhi se". Damn! The way he looked at her after she said that,he was really expecting Ishita to take his name

In the office too he kept thinking about that. And he says" Kyun kush hogi mere saath. Main Subbu thodi hoon". She wasn't just Ruhi's mom to him. He wanted her to experience the same happiness that he experiences whenever he is with her.When ishita comes to have lunch with him,she immediately understands what's running in his mind and puts his insecurities to rest. He didnt even have to verbalize it. And when she says "Main iss shadi mein bohut kush hoon". He gets his 1000 watt smile back again😳

This scene stands out for me among all the Raman's jealousy scenes we've got so far.

He is the first man to get jealous from his own daughter ..He wanted Ishita to say his name but poor RKB 😳😆

He even confessed to that later when Ruhi had gone out shopping with Shagun to annoy her but Ishita got insecure of that. Raman said how he was jealous of Ruhi and how much attention she gives her.

And even when Ishita starts appreciating Ruhi for the sorry card that he made for Ishita(after Ishu injures her wrist)he felt so jealous.😆Jealous RKB is the cutest

That track always brings tears to my eyes. It was the first time I felt extremely angry at Raman and the Bhallas (I understood their predicament but still). I think this is where my unabashed admiration for Ishu started. Right after she got Ruhi home and found out that her parents were arrested, she first calms herself and clears her head, and instead of getting into a fight with Raman or Toshi, she tells Mihika that they have to go to the police station and solve this mess. She doesn't even hesitate to dump a spinless prick like Prateek from her life at the drop of a hat, cuz she doesn't have time and energy to deal with another so-called "man" that would not be able to stand by her side and support her when disaster strikes. And when Amma and Appa are released and Amma tells Ishu they have to go home since guests must be waiting, Ishu just says with tears in her eyes, "Koi wait nahi kar raha." It broke my heart to see such good people being treated like that. But what increased my respect for Ishita more was when she says to her Amma that they don't need anyone in their life (a husband for Ishu and a son-in-law for the Iyers) and they will be happy without them. That was one resilient yet kind woman. You don't find gems like her every day.

The Ishu of initial episodes was an amazing woman. In this incident, we see the good side of Raman too. He asks the police not to misbehave with Amma Appa. After knowing the truth he does feel guilty and later in the show he apologises to Appa for whatever that has happened( at that time, Iyers and Bhallas had a tense relationship as they lose Ruhi's custody because of Ishita's inteview). But still he had the decency to apologise when he got a chance to speak with him. He asks Prateek to marry Ishita.I didn't like the way he convinced Prateek to marry by promising that he would give money and all..At that time Raman used to feel that he can get anything done with money.But at least he tried to fix the problem.

But what Ishu did later in the interview was too over the top for me. She was too angry to think straight I guess. It was like washing your dirty laundry in public. She could have confronted Raman personally before going to national television to insult him. I felt she made a mockery out of herself there. Also her dialogues to Raman like aapko bacche hone hi nahi chahiye..Too rude!

Both Raman and Ishita were victims of circumstances. Can't really blame either of them for the way they behaved.

And BTW, I feel this incident was truly the turning point of YHM. Now that I think about it..If Ruhi didn't have that cough syrup overdose,Ishu would have married that spineless Prateek and Raman would have married Dimple.
