MG three shot: College Wala Love

PART 1

Note: The setting is a foreign country, use your dream foreign location XD

He saw her when he was in his first year of college, she was in her second year having skipped a grade. He kept seeing her, she was just so sociable that she was everywhere. He couldn't help it, he fell for her. He didn't even know her name.

He got to know her after failing a class, Geet was her name, she was tutoring. He went to her tutoring, he couldn't help it, he fell harder. Slowly he got to know her and through the pressures of college, she stood at his side, even when they weren't close.

While in that first year in college he had to deal with failure, multiple times, insecurity due to those failures and many more but she was there for him. She never actually showed she was interested in him but that was okay, he loved her enough to just be happy with their friendship. They never got closer than knowing about their hobbies. They barely hung out together and when they did they talked about the most random of things. Everything except family.

Years passed and on the first day of his 3rd college year he excitedly knocked on her dorm door, wanting to see her after spending time with his family. But someone else opened the door! She was gone. The new dorm rent payer informed him that they had gotten this room last minute and was very fortunate for that. But where was Geet?

He went to her friends looking for answers but even they didn't know. He went to her bestfriend and they told him that Geet went back to India!

Back to India? He always though she was a native!

Her bestfriend also told him that she went back due to financial reasons. She was in college with a scholarship but an university office employee swindled her scholarship money for her last year. The university understood her plight but couldn't help at all-either fees or no college seat. Her parents couldn't afford the college so she went home, most likely to get married as her family only educated girls to a certain extend and got them marries as soon as they could. They had only let her study abroad due to her grandma's insistence but she had passed away when Geet was in her second year.

He was shocked! He couldn't believe it! He wanted to go to India immediately but it would be fruitless, Geet had never told anyone, even her bestfriend, of which part of India she was and even if he could figure out that, India is still huge, she could be anywhere. Her socials were also off and he couldn't reach her phone.

Dejectedly he went back

Dejectedly he completed his college

Dejectedly he started his job

Dejectedly he listened to his family's wishes of him to get married

But how could he? She was his first love who one day disappeared without notice.

In those years, he hadn't heard of her. How was she? How was she doing? Where was she?

Author's note: Hii everyone, yaad aya? Hahaah. This was supposed to be a two shot that was posted much earlier but I was really unhappy with it, a lot of unneeded details and I couldn't get back to this in time because life happened. I decided to rewrite this with less details. I hope you enjoy this story. There is a part 2 coming, pls be excited. Not today BUT soon.(Also probs not in a week)

She was closer than he thought. You see, all that she had told her friends about her life was a pure lie. She wasn't from India or a poor villaige girl or would her family ever force her to get married. NO! She was Geet Handa, the famed hidden sole great granddaughter of the conglomerate Vansh Handa, who single handedly set up Handa industries, the world's leading company in clothing and steal exportation in Europe. Handa industries was also known for many other brands of theirs but clothing and steel were the top. Not only was Geet the sole heiress to it all, she was also the CEO of the family company. The Handas were so rich, only exclusive people knew who they were. The normal folk knew the ceos of the daughter companies of the Handa industries but the Handa's were super cautious about their safety that they never let the world knew of their existence.

Geet Handa only left because she had gotten her degree months in advance and while she was planning on staying, she couldn't. For years one pesky reporter tried to reveal the Handa family, his name was Laksh Radhe and he was so close to revealing the Handa family, Geet had no option but to leave.

After she left, she set up her own company, a new young dynamic company who hired people based on their work ethic, some had college degrees, some didn't and gave each other fierce competition for employee of the month.

The employee of the month could choose as a reward a set amount of money or make their own demands as long as it wasn't something too ridiculous.

Maan, also worked there. And during his years he always wondered who his famed ceo was. Don't get me wrong, everyone had seen the ceo but Maan always knew there was someone else running the show.

He had worked for years and while he never got to let go of Geet, he gave himself challenges to keep on going. This year, it was to be employee of the month and meet the real ceo.

He tried in the 1 st month of the new year but his capable co-workers always beat him untill they couldn't, 6months later.

Yes, it took him 7months but the look on HR's face when he told them he didn't want the money but instead to meet the real ceo was priceless. They even tried to sway him with more money but that didn't work.

Back at her mansion, Geet got a phone call from her secretary "Ma'am, Geet ma'am, we have an issue, our employee of the month wants to meet you"

Hearing this Geet was shocked, she didn't think that she gave reason for someone to think that the public ceo of her company was secretly getting instructions from her. "wow I am impressed, sure send them my address and I'll meet them"

As soon as Maan got to hear that, he was over the moon. Hurriedly he left office and went to meet the real CEO.

Author's Note: hello everyone!!! Happy New Year!! Hope you all are well!! I tried to finish this today but I don't want to rush this. Next update will be shorter but it will be the last one. I don't like writing updates that are too long and I don't want to rush their meeting. Pls don't be mad at me XD
