I am not sure of SSR but Akshay was known to steal others roles or to edit their scenes to give jhim more prominence in 90s and early 2000s

Many of his fellow male co stars have told so in interviews before

He is known to snatch good roles from other actors or to edit their scenes which he feels will overshadow his performance

Also if another actors character has good scene hes known to ask director to put that for his character

I am not sure after 2005 if he stopped doing all this

In later 1990s not many wanted to play lead with him in two heo roles because he used to do that

So may be he called to ask for Dhoni role too who knows?

I am pleasantly surprised how Akshay transformed his image after 2005 from a casanova with many affairs to family man and a great a actor. But whoever has seen him from 1990s kids know what Akshay was before. But great PR work by Akshay must say.

I do not think akshay is good for Prithviraj chauhan role as he has no acting chops, i think Ranveer would have been good at that role or may be Prabhas would suit too
