Tara and Tripti the forum favourites but...

Among the new generation, I've seen a lot of support for Tara and Tripti on this forum. But they seem to lack opportunities. Tara at least has 2 films lined up, Tripti has none. I do feel like they are jinxed or something.

Do you think nepotism is to blame for their current state of affairs? Or something else?

With all the revelations and protests going on against nepotism, outsiders would be the first choice to sign. Lets be serious, how many producers would risk their returns?

But right now because of COVID, that didn't happen. Everything is at a stand still. Otherwise I am sure we would've gotten news of Tripti signing something.

I wouldn't say they are jinxed, but they are outsiders. They wouldn't get the same opportunities as insiders.

But hopefully that will change.

Don't know about Tripti. But Tara's performances so far have been meh. She doesn't have any screen presence either.If she doesn't improve soon or link-up with someone important she's not going to last long. They are simply not going to wait till she gets better in her 5th or 6th film. Which is unfair but there it is.
