Toshiji was busy in checking files when she heard some footsteps outside her room.she walked out to see who is there at this time and got surprised seeing Raman there.

Toshiji-raman,is it u,puttar??

Raman-haan maa,main hi hoon.

Toshiji-kya hua puttar,kuch problem hai??

Raman-can we talk??

Toshiji-haan aaja,she said and he went to her room.

He settled on the couch and toshiji was just looking at him waiting for him to say something,when he didn't said anything,she finally asked-tumhe kuch bolna tha??

Raman-haan,actually mujhe coffee peeni hai.he said and toshiji look at him.

Toshiji look at him all confused when he said -maine naye style ki coffee banani seekhi hai,aap piyoge??

Toshiji smiled at him and said-ofcourse,tum kuch naya seekho aur main try naa karun,aisa ho sakta hai.go and make.she said and Raman went happily to make coffee.

Toshiji look at his retreating figure and said-kuch badla hai kya,mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai ki mera puttar badal raha hai. She thought and smiled.

After ten minutes,Raman came with two mugs of coffee.he forwarded one mug to toshiji and she sipped it.

Toshiji-umm,tasty ,now tell me.kuch kehna hai??

Raman look at her and said-maa,agar aapse koi galti ho jaaye toh kya karna chahiye.i mean kuch aisa joh aap karna naa chahe but aapse ho jaaye,aur koi hurt ho.toh kya karna chahiye.

Toshiji-if u really feel sorry then apologize.

Raman-aur agar apologize karne par bhi uss insaan ka dukh kam naa ho toh,what if he or she push u away,aur apne dukh mein rahen,toh kya karna chahiye.

Toshiji-main kuch samjhi nahi ,puttar.kise takleef pahunchayi hai tune aur kiska dard kam nahi ho raha.

Raman kept the coffee aside and said-koi hai maa,jisse maine hurt kiya,though unintentionally but woh bahut takleef mein hai aur mujhe nahi samajh mein aa raha ki usse kaise comfort karun.

Toshiji lovingly caressed his face and said-agar tu sach much sorry hai,and u want to make things right,then continue trying,ek naa ek din uski takleef kam ho jayegi.

Raman-thanks maa,aur sorry.maine aapko bhi hamesha bahut hurt kiya.but ab main aapka achcha beta banne ki koshish karunga.will try to become the one u want me to be.

Toshiji-tu kyun itna soch raha hai puttar,tu bura nahi hai.tu bahut achcha bachcha hai mera,tabhi toh kisi ke saath galat karke dukhi hai,woh bhi woh galti joh anjane mein hui hai.dont be so sad,sab thik ho jayega.mujhe nahi pata teri kya problem hai,but I am sure,sab sahi ho jayega.she said and he stay there for sometime,then went to his room.

He settled on his bed and start remembering the happenings of past three days.

The night he met ruchi and she advised him to apologise to ishita,he went back.

Next morning ,he was waiting anxiously for ishita but she didn't come.he was trying to concentrate on his work but like her eyes were not letting him concentrate on anything.

Two more days passed him waiting for her but she didn't showed up.

Raman was pacing to and fro in his cabin murmuring-ajeeb ladki hai,yeh bhi koi baat hui,teen din se office nahi aayi.main wait kar raha hoon uska,ki woh office aaye .main usse baat karun ,usse sorry kahunga,but iss ladki ka koi aata -paata hi nahi.maa se pucho,but puchunga toh puchengi ki mujhe kya lena dena hai usse,kya karun ,kaise pata karun kahan reh gayi yeh ladki,he was murmuring when toshiji entered his cabin and saw him .

Toshiji observed him for sometime and finally said-koi problem hai kya tujhe ,bada pareshan lag raha hai.

Raman look at her and said-nahi toh,pareshan lag raha hoon kya??

Toshiji-lag toh rahen ho,koi baat nahi hai toh achcha hai.sunn Raman,yeh project paper check kar dein.

Like he got the opportunity,he said -main kyun karun,aap ishita ko boliye,yeh uska kaam hai .kahan hai aapki laadli??he asked.

Toshiji-uski tabiyat thik nahi hai shayad,chutti li hai usne.ek hafte ki.

Raman -ek hafte ki,itni lambi chutti.kyun di aapne.he said all shocked .

Toshiji-yeh kya baat hui,kisi employee ko agar chutti chahiye toh kaise main mana kar sakti hoon.woh ek hafte baad aayegi,toh saara kaam tumhe hi dekhna hai,samjha tu.she said and went out.

Raman-what the ,woh chutti par hai.mujhe bataya bhi nahi,arey mujhe inform karna chahiye tha.kyun nahi kiya,aur uski tabiyat kyun kharab hai,kya hua usse.kahin pregnant toh nahi ho gayi.nahi ,itni jaldi kaise ho sakti hai,toh phir aayi kyun nahi,moreover how I am going to apologize,ek kaam karta hoon,office ke baad uske ghar chala jaata hoon.but address kaise nikalon,hr se puchunga toh woh sochega main kyun maang raha hoon.kaise pata karun,kuch karke pata karta hoon,but pehle yeh file complete kar loon warna maa dande maregi .he thought and settle down to do his work.

After finishing his work ,he went to the hr and tactfully got ishita's address.and finally reach her home at six.

He was ringing the bell when she opened the door irritatedly saying-do not disturb ka board nahi dikh raha,ghanti bajaye chale jaa rahen hai.she was saying but stopped seeing Raman while he too look at her from top to bottom.

Raman-yaar yeh kaisi lag rahin hai,jaise mahino se ready nahi hui,kitni bhayanak lag rahin hai ,he was looking at her and thinking while she closed the door on his face .

Raman-isne mujhe pehchana nahi kya,yaa pehchana issliye door mere face par de maara.he was thinking when she opened the door again ,this time her hair was nicely combed and she has changed her clothes.

Ishita-sir aap??

Raman-ander nahi bulaogi??he said feeling awkward .

Ishita nodded and let him in.

Raman look around and said-ghar khoobsurat hai tumhara.

Ishita-aap yeh bolne toh nahi aaye honge.she said straightly.

Raman-baithaogi bhi nahi,he said and she signalled him to sit and went inside.

Raman-kitne gande se baat kar rahin hai,kaise apologise karunga.he was thinking when she came with sweets and water .

Ishita forwarded it to him and he took one.he started eating while she was sitting silently.

Seeing him not saying anything she said-kuch kaam tha??

Raman-tum aayi nahi office,maa ne kaha tumhari tabiyat kharab hai ,toh,he was saying when she said-dont worry,pregnant nahi hoon.maine pills le liye hai,aapke gale ki haddi nahi banungi ,sir.

Raman-no,I didn't mean that,I actually wanna say sorry.

Ishita-for what,koi galti ki aapne??

Raman-for that night.

Ishita-its ok,it wasn't ur fault .maine kaha tha naa someone drugged me.aap jaiye.

Raman-ishita suno naa.

Ishita-kya sir,mera joh chala gaya aap usse wapas toh nahi kar sakte,toh kya matlab hai sorry feel karne ka,I told u naa,aapki galti nahi thi.aap jaiye yahan se.mujhe aapse koi shikayat nahi.she said while her eyes got moist.

Raman-hey ishita,r u crying??

She wiped her tears and said-nahi,nahi toh.

Raman stand up and said-yes u r,kya hua,batao mujhe.he said and she burst into tears.

Raman-hey ishita,no no please,stop crying ,he was saying when she said-main bhool nahi paa rahin hoon usse,jitni bhi koshish karun,I can't stop thinking about that night.and I am feeling terrible about it.naa kisi se milne ka mann kar raha hai,aur naa kahin jaane ka.aankhen bandh karti hoon toh wahin feel ho raha hai,ur hands on my body,u in me,she said looking down slowly.

Ishita-i don't want to feel this,but it's not going out of my system.i couldn't sleep since three days,I couldn't even wink.i am feeling terrible,terrible remembering that.i don't want to blame u or take advantage of u,but nahi bhool paa rahin main uss raat ko ,she was saying in between crying bitterly when he went close and caressed her hair trying to comfort her.

Like a reflex action she pushed him away and then said composing herself-please stay away from me,I am not liking ur touch.i don't wanna near any man.mujhe khud se nafrat ho rahin hai uss raat ko yaad karke,I may hurt u.aap please chale jao.i don't wanna drag u in my problem.this is my problem and I will try to solve it myself,u please go,kyunki aap kuch nahi kar sakte.she was saying while he could see rashes on her neck and arms.

He went closer and said-kisi ne tumhare saath phir kuch kiya hai kya,yeh rashes kaise hai??

Ishita-kisi ne kuch nahi kiya, maine khud kiya hai.i just tried to rub off ur touch .I know yeh sunn kar aapko achcha nahi lag raha hoga,but I can't help.everytime I remember that night,I hate myself.i hate myself for trusting subbu and for not able to safeguard myself .she was saying when he came closer and she said-kaha naa mere kareeb mat aaiye,I am not liking ur proximity.she was saying when he kept his finger on her lips and said-shh,chup raho.

Ishita-nahi sir,aap jaiye.i am blaming u,she was saying when he said-kaha naa,ek shabd nahi .stop thinking so much about that night ,ishita .I know it's not normal for u,u lost ur most precious possession,but iss tarah khud se nafrat karogi toh kaise chalega.hate me or that man,galti hum dono ki hai ,tumhari nahi hai.as a man,we see girls just for pleasure,kabhi nahi sochte ki hamare ek step se kisi par kya asar ho sakta hai.yes,I wasn't waiting for u ,but main bhi kisi ladki ka hi wait kar raha tha,so right now,I am also feeling terrible about it.he said and she was just looking at him observing his words.

Raman-i know shayad yeh meri galti kam naa kar sake yaa phir tumhari takleef kam naa kar sake,but I need to say this,I am sorry,I am sorry ,ishita .he said honestly while she was looking at him.
