So, the Annihilators were right? According to BW standard hero's wife is the heroine. LOL... And that makes Deepu the second lead.

Hehe noo I dont think it's that kind of film. Scar Jo was front and center the heart of Matchpoint. Your sympathies are with her despite her being involved with a married man and she's the main lead. But not sure how well this will translate to a Hindi film.

Strange. I thought this film when it was announced would be a romcom!

It was never announced as a romcom, Deepika's first description of the film was 'romance in quite a dark space', the genre is domestic noir, shakun also said the characters in the film question their morals and societal norms, so the plot of mathpoint fits the description as the story is based around an affair

So its not a film where the main characters are doing the right or moral thing

Yeah I know, I guess I just assumed it so because in one of her interviews with Masand and Shakun, DP said the film is in a "Piku" esque space but I suppose she meant that it's about relationships and not that it's a romcom.

It's a great role for her for sure though. Scarjo and Johnathan Rhys Meyers were both amazing in the original.

Trying to ignore the pedo Woody Allen for a second, Match Point is actually a solid movie, a sinister noir with a pretty fcked up ending. People in India cannot accept KANK, how will they accept this? Believe me, this is on a next level with a terrible protagonist.

Also PLEASE STOP remaking films bollywood. I am so done with this. I really don't want Deepika in this if true. There is no way it can't match up to the original

If it’s as boring as that then deepika definitely did the right thing to sign a big movie with a male superstar to compensate her experiments.

Kapoor and sons wasn’t bad and the Veteran actors were too good so it increased the entertainment factor.
