In this IPL, since there are no 'home' or 'away' fields, will it be half the duration of previous ones in India? i.e. Every team only encounters each of their opponents once? Or will there be 2 encounters?

If they just have one game each, then this tournament will be done in 1 month instead of 2

No the same concept . 1 team to play each team twice that is 14 games for each team.

It's a 53 days tournament .

How is it the 'same' concept? i.e. What is a 'home' game and 'away' game? And I'm not talking about the stands: I'm asking how do teams get to decide who calls the preparation of a pitch?

This year, given these circumstances, I think the IPL should have been 7 games for each side

Anyway, thanks for the response
