Mr pat d'souza. I 100% agree with your views. this is the thing happened behind the screen. JA has played a dirty game in this whole episode. I dont know why public is not using their simple common sense. definetely rex sang and performed better than rupu. so qazi and rex shd hv been the fj. probably JA must hv threatened that he will walk out of gurukul if rupu's name is not announced as winner of fj [either with rex or qazi it does not matter for him bcos he knew that qazi will come with public vote ] so only for safer side he kept only rupu's name card close to his chest and keeping the gun on channel's head waiting for the result . [probably JA may be in tension that if rex comes with public voting his wish for rupu becoming one of the fj will be shattered ] so ultimately sony channel surrendered to him to avoid any scene there and the channel also compensated rex by giving him a two year contract in their forthcoming album, [as a compromising formula for rex]but poor fellow rex lost the title of fj. let us wish him the good luck. asha rao

RR was a good enuf singer to make it to the top on her own steam... and i distinctly remember that during several of the gala rounds when other judges lavished praise on her Javed Akhtar often scolded her for her bad hindi accent.....of course that could all have been part of a grand conspiracy 😉

and i think it was a foregone conclusion that a girl would be one of the FJ as II was already abijit sawant and sony would have wanted a boy-girl jodi to keep it balanced. also the music album would sound better to if it was a girl-boy jodi than a boy-boy jodi..

I just can say one thing, I have voted for qazi-RR foor quite number of times, and all whom i know who voted voted for qazi-RR and in this forum most of the qazi fan voted for qazi-RR, and i think they have done independent of JA's suggestion, neways now it does not matter to me at all, end of it my favourite has won thats y i m happy and looking forward to hear their album, I wish my all the best to Qazi-RR

How exactly do u get all this information from "inside sources"? U gotta provide some proof, honey. Because as of now u're just coming off as a sore loser desperately trying to make excuses for the janta's unanimous choice. If "everybody" wanted Qazi-Rex, then how the heck did it only receive 26% of the votes compared to RR-Qazi's 47%? Or are u now going to tell us that Javed Akhtar did an All-India tour and put a gun to everybody's head to vote for his favorite JODI? 😆. This article of yours makes up for some nice gossip for people whose favorite contestants didn't win, but in the end it is badly lacking in credibility. Backing up every controversial statement with "inside sources" doesn't mean we'll instantly believe u've any access to inside info. U're not a reporter working for some newspaper. U're a "freelancer". Spare me if I(and a LOT of others) think u're a phony.

Another thing, I'm sick of everybody thinking RR only made it because JA was in love with her. Go and watch every gala where she performs, JA was always harping on her pronounciation. And even when RR did perform poorly(which I believe was only twice), she was saved by the faculty twice, was "safe" due to being the top student the previous week, and came through with the janta's votes a couple of times(whaddayaknow, she's got fans after all). RR in the end won because 1) She was a great singer(IMO the best at FG) 2) A genuinely nice person with a winning smile and 3) Stayed off controversy. Always voted for the right person, which I can hardly say for anybody else aside from Qazi. All 3, especially the last two, made her one of janta's favorites.
