Not only that the 2 biggest blunder was making the team as big as cricket team and 2ndly making it 3 times a week..matlab obviously they will run out of contents..i have not even watched 2014-2015 episodes...some stupid spiderwoman and mysterious islands nonsense to name a few😂..whenever the team was small they gel nicely too,like golden era times and also wen vivek,tasha,freddy and the trio were there..🙂

This is my two cents on the whole issue;

Cricket team is an understatement.......there were atleast 20 people in cid bureau during 2012-2015.........it makes sense in real world that these many people would be working in a crime branch, but for the show it was too much. There were atleast 12/13 cops in talkative skeleton episode and episodes before that as well, but it felt natural because all of them were shown doing paperwork.....but the 2012-2015 was unrealistic to the core............I always consider 1-394 as golden era ; Daksh came in ep 309 and crashed and burnt golden era gradually.......395-619 were silver era ; Sachin came in and crashed and burnt this era within 2 episodes of his arrival 🤣🤣🤣.......after that was the bronze era till the end of the show 🤢🤢🤢(I rather not talk about it)........sometimes I watch episodes 570-678 which I call as Tasha era , it's somewhat interesting and the amalgamation of silver and bronze era

But yeah , Cid went downhill after the trial in London episode.....they couldn't make the characters more compelling after that

The role he was given was not right though. No one understood him and he understood no body.

And they didn't treat the angst in a way that English shows do. actually they are hopeless in showing personal relationships and professional dynamics along with a case the way the English crime shows do so beautifully

I have watched almost all episodes of CID now but I will never watch beyond mid 2010 again. CID for me ends where Sachin enters

Yes I agree , Daksh character was handled much better (Manav Gohil sir was awesome in that role)

The role he was given......he was actually ridiculed by almost everyone in CID bureau and even the victims'families made fun of him! No one understood his emotions and stuff......and no one belived when he said that his dead brother was alive in code name banjara episode (only ACP did ...... slightly) it kind of makes sense that Daksh sided with Nakul in the later episodes

Professional dynamics was well brought out i in the 2004-05 episodes ; it was a year of character development , Abhijeet mellowed down his whole fake-son storyline brought some new perspective to him, Adithi enters , proves herself to be an excellent analyst , Adithi's relationship with her sister who's a criminal , Daksh hunting down the people who were responsible for his brother's death, and suspected for murder by the SB team , ACP sir comming in terms with the fact that his son his a criminal , Daya and Sonali stuff😡, Daya gets framed again and saved by Salunkhe sir 😊, Dr Anjalika realises that ACP sir did not kill her husband (her arc comes to a close when in face off she tells Abhijeet sir that ACP sir couldn't have commited the murder and he's innocent) , Adithi suspects her fiance for murder and almost jeopardizing her personal life , faces a cannibal (ACP at the end being concerned for Adithi just like with Asha in the stolen car case was soooo good). , dies at the hands of a mad bomber 😭😭 (the one time when a cop died and the show gave them a proper funeral they deserved) and finally face off and trial in London which had an epic end to Nakul and the cringey giant wheel scene......the late golden era (2004-05 episodes): basically fleshed out the characters in the best way possible , it was the later episodes which failed these characters terribly , if they could bring about all these character development in a 20 minute episode , why couldn't they do the same in a 45 minutes episode? All character devolopment in the silver and bronze era were messy and OTT

I was actually planning to watch all the episodes.....but stopped at ep 619 a couple of months ago......I've never watched the bronze era of CID.....I thought that I could watch it for the trio.....but I simply can't......maybe one day I'll watch the bronze era.......until then I imagine that ACP sir retired from CID after trial in London saying that he might have done his duty as a cop , but failed as a father.......and the show ends for me right there.....

Stories were hopeless. Side characters had more role than cid. Opening scene were 10 minutes long. Culprits were predictable . Ending was always running and chasing. Full five minutes of running and sheer nonsense screen distribution

Kevin was the only cop I liked a little in that era. But he didn't stay for long

After 2016 mid there was improvement but still as if the soul was missing .

2018 episodes were again nonsense. No closure to eye gang. Unnessesary and unfinished story of Shreya

Haha true everyone of us will write long essays if we watch cid reruns from episode 1 onwards...i just somehow manage to complete till last episode of vivek..mostly because he was my favourite officer..but ya fw did get some good stories in late 2016 after they decided to trim down the team and remove sachin and all..i still remember one episode in 2016 or 2017 where the killer injects the fluids used in pads and huggies to coagulate the blood and kill ...being from medical line really loved that story😅felt like cid returning to their good old stories..but 2014-15 episodes..omg cant even watch😂😂

@bold ; which was the last episode of Vivek? Because I read in the old threads that he left in 2012 and returned again

Also case of the last wound part 2 is problematic in both the old and the new archive......but amazingly the YouTube version of that episode has no glitch

@bold ; Part 2 of the last wound episode had video glitches which was not present in the youtube versions

@underline; no didi the case of the last five mins (episode 50 , completely different episode) was not uploaded by set india and they jumped to missing bullet episodes.....missing bullet episodes are fine but the Sony LIV version of the episode glitched at the part where ACP sir told Daya that "you're one of my best officers"

I never asked anyone to replace the old archive......I asked @Nirma to replace the episodes that he had uploaded in the new version.......that is if he wants to

I can see how my comment about last 5 mins can be confusing......sorry my bad
