I would not look for progressive and feminism in StarPlus shows you can watch Web series ALT for that. StarPlus is all about soaps sometimes storylines goes up and down. All the other points I agree with. I hope we see Anu develop quickly unlike Gopi which toke 3 years to change

But many of the newer shows on Star, Colours, Sony etc are actually progressive enough for my liking 😂

I’m not an extreme feminist or anything... in fact to me the way Anu’s kids behave with her and vice versa was actually more baffling than her relationship with her husband and in laws (which isn’t great but there are unfortunately plenty of such families in our society).

And yeah Gopi’s character was very unrealistic (especially in the very beginning) and followed kinda regressive stereotypes... but the serial in itself wasn’t that regressive imo, it showed MIL supporting her DIL, getting her educated etc which was sweet
