And coming to her friends

First of all her all friends all master in degree and all are professionally qualified and all are doing job and they have come from that family where they have modern environment and where all members of family know English and where all her friends able learn English at home

While anupama does not come from modern family

And more over in Hindi medium also student has option to select English medium so probably her friends might have selected English medium

And even if one is not in one subject but if that person best in another subject still that person can get good percentage

Like anupama subject in 12 the was home science, English Hindi Sanskrit and regional language

If she does not good marks in English and she has just passed in English but if she get nice marks in other subject still she can get nice percentage over all

Coming to anupama job in school . In school she was not doing 7 hrs job. She is only doing two hrs job . In two hrs job and she is getting on just rs 5000 per month

So for just 5000 rs per month as salary and working only for 2 hrs what special degree anupama require to do job in school

Degree come then when organizing giving person very high salary

And another thing principal selected anupam

because she has creativity while making food . If any one has creativity one can still do job

Now coming to pakhi and toshu. When they have ever love their mother that now both pakhi and toshu are completely destroyed. Right from beginning both toshu and pakhi are mistreating her

It is only samar who is giving her mental support

Kinjal mother is rude but what is fault of kinjal so anupama should not support toshu to marry kinjal

Kinjal is nice to Shah family so why should anupama reject kinjal just because rakhi is rude?

And most of time anupama is treated like maid by toshu, pakhi, vanraj and mother in law . They never value anupama so where is question of anupama glorification

Yeah I agree that Kinjal has so far been shown to be more on the positive side than say Kavya or Rakhi, but she has been shown explicitly saying that she will never oppose her mom ever and her actions are in line with that...

So far she has failed to take a stand against Rakhi even though her behaviour was way out of line right from Janmashtami incident till know, but urges Toshu to fight with his own family for this relationship (asking him "kuch karo phir" in yesterday's episode, which seemed to have been what triggered Toshu's drunk outburst that night)...

The thing with Kinjal (so far) is that she doesn't actually take any kind of stand on this issue- she won't beg/plead/argue with Rakhi to let her marry Toshu, but at the same time she won't actually go to Toshu and tell him to stop contacting and meeting her as she doesn't want to marry him.

And the problem in this show is that there are far too many indecisive charectars just like Kinjal who don't know what they want or why!

Yeah, although I missed episodes this week(because my expectations aren’t met by Anu’s devi attitude and the show shifting to ‘how Anu wins her family members faith’ instead of how she fights for her rights), I think the makers couldn’t keep anyone realistic enough. You see it’s hard to make a grey character and do justice to it. If done wrongly, it gets messed big time. Kinjal’s character had potential but they keep her no more than a cardboard. Also, Kavya’s insecurities should’ve been concentrated upon(because she’s good as a person) but all they show is someone screaming and blaming Anu for everything on the planet 🤦‍♀️

You’re right to question all of this. Your question I particular about how she was a good student and yet doesn’t know how to speak or write etc, but remember over time we can forget things. I live in the U.K and I know people who have lived here for years and has even gone to school and still they don’t know English as well because they haven’t spent their life learning like a lot of us has.

For me, I think to show a positive impact you have to show the negative. It wouldn’t make sense to showcase Anupamaa as a progressive woman from the get go if you don’t show what she is meant to be progressing from. Right? So this is why I don’t heavily oppose to all the atrocities because I am hopeful that when change happens, I will be able to truly see the progression. It will fulfil the story a bit more, but that’s just me I suppose.

It’s not pleasant to see how Anupamaa is treated at all. None of us deny that, especially when it comes to her children. But perhaps we could learn that it’s not always advisable to love children unconditionally because they can take us for granted and they can forget their limits and this is exactly what the children in this show are doing.

I don’t think Rajan Shahi will have Anupamaa bear the burn for long. Then again, I don’t think this show is entirely up to him as there is a co-producer.

Show has become very boring of late also too much of lecture by Anupama 😅😴 in each n every episode 🙄 n they are getting very high trp so they wont bother to show anything logical now i feel 😡🤦🏻‍♀️

Yep it’s actually getting tiresome! Every episode people yell at Anupama for no good reason, Anu cries, then Vanraj comes and blames Anu for everything 🤷🏽‍♀️

Honestly Shaadi Mubarak (the new show that comes after this one on SP) is sooo much more entertaining as well as genuinely progressive 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Heroine in that show also goes through a lot of problems in her life but lady has a spine! Plus hero and others are shown having problems in their lives too, the serial isn’t just a one person pity party for the heroine where no one else even has any problems 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yeah, it definitely does look like “Mahaan Anu wins her family’s faith with her sheer mahaanta” than “Strong Anu fights for her rights”, and the whole story/narrative these days is reminding me of some regressive serials 10-15 years ago than anything that’s on TV now...

One refreshing thing that I’m glad has remained constant since the beginning though is how Kavya isn’t shown as totally evil... it’s made clear that Vanraj is the real problem and not Kavya, which is an honest take on the issue (rather than making her a typical vampy other woman who ensnares good unsuspecting hero 😒).

I hope CVs handle her grey character with care (as they are different to write well compared to 100% good or 100% bad characters) and give her a credible life story (maybe abusive marriage?) to explain why she would enter into the affair with Vanraj in the first place...

As cooking teacher in school. Anupama salary was just rs 5000

In such big school rs 5000 salary is quite low

So for such low salary I don't think B. Ed or M. Ed i degree s require
